NoritakeBlue Colorwave 4-Piece Coupe Place Setting, Service for 1

I like everything about these plates except I ordered two sets (not at the same time) and the shade of blue was a bit different (one was lighter than the other). I small complaint and only reason I did not rate 5 stars.I have only had them for a few months but I use them almost everyday and have banged them against counter or other dishes a few times and no chips yet.

I kind of balked at the price when I put in my first order for 2 settings. I wanted to see how heavy duty they were.One can never go wrong with the Noritake name. I ordered another 6 settings to make it eight and they are a great everyday setting and you can use them as a holiday setting also.Very strong and utile.DM Lynnwood, WA

I've been using these dishes for about three years now. We had 8 sets and the only time any have chipped or cracked have been from our own fault (dropping them or dropping things on them). The colors have never faded even after three years of dishwasher use.It's also nice that they haven't been discontinued, so we are able to replace/add to our collection years later.

Time will tell if this product will wear as well as the older, more desirable stoneware, which is no longer made. Better was available twenty years ago. Come on Noritake, newer design, isn't always better.

I bought 16 sets of these plate/bowls/mugs to stock my company's break room. The level of packaging was an overkill but they all arrived quite safe and sound - no scratches or breaks. The weight and durability seems good and I have no complaints after 4 weeks of frequent use. The actual color is quite true to the online representation.
