This bag is awesome... I ordered the black one but they sent me the beige one I had a gig and didn't have time to return it but as far as the protection it's awesome .... love it but hate the color, shows all black marks from moving equipment with it...

I needed to replace an old Fender deluxe bass gig bag that was very tired, and offered little protection. I didn't need top o' the line, but wanted a step up from the Fender. I was very happy with a Gator acoustic dreadnought hard she'll case I bought, and a very nice Gator mixing board bag/case I also own. So, I went to the middle of the Gator offering for Bass bags. It is very fine quality, and exactly what I needed. A BIG step up from the Fender deluxe gig bag.

Finally out of desperation, I brought this on Amazon, I was trying find a bag that would fit Ovation timeless legend acoustic guitar. If you’re in a market for an Ovation. I tried a lot of bags. In hindsight the upper end Roadrunner deluxe bags fit nicely…but you could still notice the hump of the back of the guitar through those. Although the coffin bags are supremo they are a bit bulky. I turned to the manufacturer bags for Ovation, and the all black bags were minimal for an expensive guitar like this. Not a good bag for a pricey acoustic. And I thought the OVATION bag would be a better fit, they were not. Any good bag will do apparently. While in Guitar Center, they showed me the gator transit series. They wanted 150.00 for those, but it fit nicely , a bit bulky, easy to carry, not too heavy….alittle too expensive though, compared to the Roadrunners.Amazon had one of these at a good price. When I finally got it, it has a nice plush red interior, holds the bag well with good protection, very adjustable . Good pockets on this one. I got the black one, and the outer material looks and feels a bit chintzy….but overall..this seems to be a great value. My tip , get the more expensive material, but the interior of this bag is the selling point these bags. This bags deserves at least 4 and a half stars.

This case arrived in a big box. It is a soft bag, but it's not floppy. It's pretty sturdy for a bag. When the top is unzipped, it does fall back -it's a bag not a hard-case. It's lighter than my hard-case, of course, therefore easier to handle. I like the 'backpack' straps. I use this bag twice a month with the understanding that I need to be more careful than when I use my hard-case. The only down about this bag is the clip hooks on the straps; they're plastic. Immediately, upon seeing rhos, I was thinking I'll have to get some metal hooks before they break.

I’m new to playing guitar and was using a hard case (typical newb). I drive a tiny car and hauling around my guitar was a pain. This case is great. Good quality. Lots of lifting and carrying options & great cushioning.

This is a 10/10 love love love it I'll definately purchase agsin
