Generally stable and secure.
Works well with a GoPro camera or to simply mount a headlight.

Great mount for bikes with ability to rotate the camera.
I have a Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 which shares the same connection as GO PRO cameras. I was looking for a bicycle mount and found this one from GO PRO. It is a newer model evidently and has one nice feature....you can rotate the camera to many positions other than straight ahead and has click stops to hold it firmly. I will use it on several bikes...road Race bikes, long distance self contained touring bike, mountain bike and a racing tandem. It fits all the handlebars I have, however, I found a thing strip of flexible plastic filled the opening better for a couple of the bars.It also comes with two larger inserts so it can adapt to small tubes like the diagonal tubes from the seat post to the drop outs for some unique perspectives. The connection is standard GO PRO and I like that it uses thumb screws so you don't need a screwdriver or allen key. On my mountain bike it has to be installed with the camera above the bar to clear brake levers, cables, etc. This is Ok although if you ever dump the bike and it flips over it could allow the camera to hit the ground. On my road bikes I can have the camera suspended below the bars which provides more protection although far less chance of dumping your road bike than the mountain bike. The material is standard heavy duty reinforced plastic used in all the GO PRO mounts and is known to be very rugged. Since it is the standard GO PRO "fingers" to hold the camera....you can add other pieces from their options to provide different mounting points. By the way they also have a similar model for large tubes such as roll bars on cars. I bought this through Amazon and I was not given any incentives to give a good review.

This is TOP Quality, Super Secure and EASY to USE!
First, this is a very very high quality made action video tool! You can see the quality and FEEL the quality, but how does it work?Second, it works amazingly! Truly secure, the rotating function is impeccable and stable. It locks with this little lever when you stop rotating it, and it stays in place!Third, it really looks great but doesn't take up too much space on the bar!I am new to doing 'action' vlogs at all, let alone from my recumbent trike. This will be a key mounting spot for one of the two action cameras.I am VERY happy with this purchase because it does EXACTLY what it advertises to do, and does it perfectly.

Awesome for cycling footage. Very near perfect product.
Well-made product. I've used it on a variety of rides now with my Hero 6, from road sprints to gravel grinds, and got great footage. I have mine mounted on to the seatpost with the camera pointing backwards between my saddle bag and rear wheel. It's great for capturing the pain on your fellow riders faces on uphills :D I have a handlebar mount for my phone (QuadLock), which enables me start/stop filming on the go via. the GoPro app - as well as providing a rearview camera. The GoPro quickly slides in and out of the mount easily when you want it to (cafe stops) and remains secure for the rest of the time. Even on bumpier rides I haven't noticed any considerable changes to the angle of my GoPro. Just remember to add some protection around your lens (I use a full waterproof case since I've cracked my GoPro's touchscreen). My one gripe is that the included rubber inserts are way too thick for handlebars or seat posts of most bikes. I'd love to use one of those inserts to stabilise my footage a little more (and provide extra protection to my bike's paint). I guess the thicker ones might come in useful for something else at some point - maybe mounting on to a pencil?! - but for a cycling-specific product they're pretty pointless, especially the super thick one! I really think that a thinner one should have been included so I've taken a star off for this as it's not perfect, but I'd actually rate it 4.5 out of 5 if I could have.

Worth the extra cost
Go with GoPro parts, more expensive but this one delivers. Camera will stay secure on the mount on bunny MTB downhill rides. None of the 3rd party models did.

Official! Great Value
I was shopping for a bike mount for my GoPro and saw very mixed reviews of most generics so I went with the official. A few features I wanted include1.) 360 Rotation - This offers that and includes a locking mechanism so it won't rotate on its own!2.) Good Vibration Dampers - The rubber spacers on this are much thicker than other models I've seen. This helps with sound and vibration, plus allows a more universal fit!3.) Quick Release - This offers a quick release so no need to unscrew!Pros1.) Durable2.) Designed by GoPro for GoPro3.) Price - Not cheap, but not overly expensive either4.) Very adjustable! Should fit most bikes! Mine fits my thick handled mountain bike.Overall - I have one ride so far with this and it was great. I was able to produce some great footage! Quality is top notch and this should fit most bikes

Go with the real thing! - This is it!
Just bought my second. My first rode away on my bike when the u-lock was cut off with a cordless grinder with an abrasive cutoff wheel.I thought I would try a very highly rated, less-expensive version. It was junk. It would rotate when hand tightened to the max. It did come with a wrench to get it tight enough, but then you needed the wrench to get it off, too. It scratched my new handle bars as the padding was insufficient. It was also inconvenient as you couldn't just pop the camera on and off, you had to screw/unscrew the hinge pin every time, then try to find the same horizon. This one designed by GoPro is the way to go. It holds itself in position on the bars using no tools, just my fingers. I can pop the camera on and off in a snap and it is always looking forward at the same angle. The rubber grommet is more than sufficient to prevent the mount from damaging my handlebar.I strongly recommend you go with the real thing.

Mount fits bracket loosely, rattles
Good secure mount except that the sliding plate, attached to the camera, does not fit it snugly and rattles noisily on a handlebar mount.

3 Worte: Top! Top! Top!
Einfach nur genial. Top Ware.
