Great mount for bikes with ability to rotate the camera.
I have a Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 which shares the same connection as GO PRO cameras. I was looking for a bicycle mount and found this one from GO PRO. It is a newer model evidently and has one nice feature....you can rotate the camera to many positions other than straight ahead and has click stops to hold it firmly. I will use it on several bikes...road Race bikes, long distance self contained touring bike, mountain bike and a racing tandem. It fits all the handlebars I have, however, I found a thing strip of flexible plastic filled the opening better for a couple of the bars.It also comes with two larger inserts so it can adapt to small tubes like the diagonal tubes from the seat post to the drop outs for some unique perspectives. The connection is standard GO PRO and I like that it uses thumb screws so you don't need a screwdriver or allen key. On my mountain bike it has to be installed with the camera above the bar to clear brake levers, cables, etc. This is Ok although if you ever dump the bike and it flips over it could allow the camera to hit the ground. On my road bikes I can have the camera suspended below the bars which provides more protection although far less chance of dumping your road bike than the mountain bike. The material is standard heavy duty reinforced plastic used in all the GO PRO mounts and is known to be very rugged. Since it is the standard GO PRO "fingers" to hold the camera....you can add other pieces from their options to provide different mounting points. By the way they also have a similar model for large tubes such as roll bars on cars. I bought this through Amazon and I was not given any incentives to give a good review.

As advertised...
Fits my 35mm handlebars and holds the camera in place without any issues. Good product at a good price.

made differently to the chaeaper knock-off brands so im hoping it lasts
It is sturdier construction so I'm hoping will not snap off the way my other two cheaper mounts did. Very easy to mount and secure on handlebars

Awesome for cycling footage. Very near perfect product.
Well-made product. I've used it on a variety of rides now with my Hero 6, from road sprints to gravel grinds, and got great footage. I have mine mounted on to the seatpost with the camera pointing backwards between my saddle bag and rear wheel. It's great for capturing the pain on your fellow riders faces on uphills :D I have a handlebar mount for my phone (QuadLock), which enables me start/stop filming on the go via. the GoPro app - as well as providing a rearview camera. The GoPro quickly slides in and out of the mount easily when you want it to (cafe stops) and remains secure for the rest of the time. Even on bumpier rides I haven't noticed any considerable changes to the angle of my GoPro. Just remember to add some protection around your lens (I use a full waterproof case since I've cracked my GoPro's touchscreen). My one gripe is that the included rubber inserts are way too thick for handlebars or seat posts of most bikes. I'd love to use one of those inserts to stabilise my footage a little more (and provide extra protection to my bike's paint). I guess the thicker ones might come in useful for something else at some point - maybe mounting on to a pencil?! - but for a cycling-specific product they're pretty pointless, especially the super thick one! I really think that a thinner one should have been included so I've taken a star off for this as it's not perfect, but I'd actually rate it 4.5 out of 5 if I could have.

This is TOP Quality, Super Secure and EASY to USE!
First, this is a very very high quality made action video tool! You can see the quality and FEEL the quality, but how does it work?Second, it works amazingly! Truly secure, the rotating function is impeccable and stable. It locks with this little lever when you stop rotating it, and it stays in place!Third, it really looks great but doesn't take up too much space on the bar!I am new to doing 'action' vlogs at all, let alone from my recumbent trike. This will be a key mounting spot for one of the two action cameras.I am VERY happy with this purchase because it does EXACTLY what it advertises to do, and does it perfectly.

Mtn Bikers Beware, NOT For Trails!!
This is absolute garbage for any form of biking other than on an extremely smooth paved road. If you want to get footage of you and your friends ripping trails go with the helmet mount. I spent the weekend in CB Mtn biking and 100% of the footage aside from riding on the road to the trail is completely unusable. I used a leathermen to tighten down the screws after the first few miles as I could see the camera was shaking so hard from from the trail and still all the footage was completely unusable. On the last day I switched to my helmet mount and can actually use that footage. That being said, I also do a lot of kayaking and canoeing and plan to use this mount to attach it to my paddle to get some rad footage. There are plenty of other I will use this attachment and I am very exited to use it when paddling. As advertised and marketed as a Bike handlebar, seat post attachment this is junk for the trails but if you want to use it as handlebar attachment while cursing around town, on a nice paver along an epic beach front of if you're doing a century road bike race this will be perfect.I gave this 3 stars as it could be used as a bike handlebar attachment so long as you're not planing on going off the pavement and I will use this for canoeing and kayaking and can see myself using it as a basic attachment point for many other objects. The 16 point rotation system is awesome, very easy and smooth to turn even when riding and is super solid. It is definitely a great attachment point but as fat as trail and mountain biking I give it zero stars.
