Wedgwood Renaissance Gold Accent Salad Plate 9”

So the end game plan is to have service for 6 or 8 place settings of the Wedgwood RENAISSANCE GOLD and 6 or 8 place settings of the RENAISSANCE RED so I can mix and match the patterns when I have larger parties, I love the extra salad/dessert plate that comes with the gold {it's a shame that they didn't do the same for the red} which comes in handy when serving a 4, 5, or 6 course meal (yes I've done six course dinners for those special people in my life). I loved the fact that the design has a oriental air to it and as someone who loves Asian Art this pulled me right in, the blue.gold, and white work well and I can't wait until I have everything on the table but sadly it'll be a little longer that I planned. I had originally ordered 2 place settings of the RENAISSANCE GOLD which should have come last week only to be lost/misplaced by the great USPS aka the post office (not UPS) and after several more days of waiting I ended up with a refund and was told to repurchase the place settings...well with a jump in price I deiced to get something else that I wanted even more but i'll save that for later review. In the meantime I'll place these in storage until the price comes down on the Gold and I'll probably get 4 or 6 more plates whenever there is a price drop. Great design and from what I can tell it's going to work out SO well with the RENAISSANCE GOLD when I order it again and with that rich red wall in my dining room I can't wait to see how that rich blue POPS!!! I've been a fan of Wedgwood for about 30 years as a mater of fact the first China pattern I fell in love with was Colonnade Black by Wedgwood back in 1981 {I was in high school and was looking at china as a school project on plating and presentation for a cooking class) this accent plate is a work of art, It was a little disappointing that this pattern is NOT made in England but in Indonesia, also no Wedgwood box or tissue paper (may be silly to some but it helps when storing dishes for a long period of time, with that being said if there was a half star the review would have been for 4.5 stars but the review is for the product not packaging.but should take of a half star for not being made in England, but then again maybe that's why the price is so low....

This is the perfect accent plate with the Renaissance Gold pattern. Even if you have something else, they are wonderful- just beautiful!

Love these salad plates. They look great with the dinner plates for a formal place sitting.

This is a lovely plate. I am buying the complete Wedgwood china renaissance gold 8 piece set that goes beautifully with this plate. Can't wait for thanks giving.
