LEGO Marvel The Avengers Advent Calendar 76196 Building Kit, an Awesome Gift for Fans of Super Hero Building Toys; New 2021 (298 Pieces)

I buy one of these for my son every year. It started when he was very young and had continued into his young adult years. Always fun and festive!

We purchased this in 2021 for our son who was(is) obsessed with LEGO. It must've been on sale when we got it though, because we paid less than half of the current listed price. We got another LEGO advent calendar this last year(2023) and its full price is not much more than what we paid for this Marvel one. I put only 3 stars on "value for money" because I'm not sure we would've paid full price, although it is a very good advent calendar. Our son was so excited every day to open the next one. He kept them all on the flap that is built into the box up until Christmas and then they all got mixed in with the rest of his collection. He still plays with many of the figures from it.

I agreed with my son that this would form part of his early/pre-Christmas present, and I'm so glad we did. It's excellent! He was so excited each morning to open it and then played with the items all day. Recommended.

Its really cute, but some stuff doesn't make sense as to why it was part of the set. Not all the instructions were clear, and it was a tad bit too expensive. Pretty okay, overall.

It's hard to find advent calendars so when I find them I usually buy one or two for pre-Christmas gifts for the kids ... and some adults. LEGO calendars are perfect for the LEGO fans in my family. This one arrived on time and will be a great pre-Christmas treat. I would buy from this vendor again.
