So helpful in a large classroom!
Sometimes my voice got lost in my huge classroom and on the way to the cafeteria. This really helps. My voice still does get strained. But, not as much as without this. And, my students hear me better. I can speak more quietly to get their attention. I love it! It charges quickly. I just plug it in during my planning time and that seams to be enough. It easily attaches around the waist. Some times my earrings clink against the mouth piece and that makes a sound, so I have to adjust as needed. Sometimes the headband has to be adjusted for comfort. It can get tight wearing both a mask and this on my head. But all in all it is comfortable and useful and I love it! You can use it straight out of the box. Mine came charged enough to use it immediately. You just attach the waist band and you are good to go! A colleague got one and a bunch of us copied her. It’s a dream come true, after 16 years without one!

keep the mic nice and close and it can be pretty loud
This is a review for “ZOWEETEK Bluetooth Voice Amplifier with Wired Microphone Headset for Speaking, Support Recording and MP3 Format Audio, Portable power amplifiers for Teachers, Coaches, Training, Teacher Must Haves”This attracted my attention because it said “bluetooth voice amplifier”, I had pictured a wireless microphone that could be placed anywhere and be amplified. My use case was in a healthcare setting serving the elderly and in a COVID-like scenario where all the healthcare workers are forced to wear N95 masks which block your voice a lot. Communicating to patients who are often hard of hearing while wearing a thick mask is not an easy task, if you can talk loud enough for them to understand you it can get pretty tiring, imagine. My wife works in this setting and I wanted something that would help her do this. A wireless microphone placed inside the mask would allow her to talk “loudly” to patients without having to raise her voice so much. But, reading more closely, I found that this was in fact only using a wired microphone for the voice function, and apparently the bluetooth function is only for playing audio from other media sources, which apparently can be done while you are also talking. I’m not sure if I understood that at the time I ordered this, but in any case that is how it must be used. So, trying this in the normal way, one can place the boom microphone right in front of one’s mouth and the amplifier works quite well, reminds me of the last time I went on a walking tour and the guide used a similar device. You pretty much have to kiss the microphone to get it to be nice and loud, but I think that is by necessity, because if you make the microphone sensitive enough to play loudly through the speaker on your person with the microphone distant from your mouth, it will probably feedback and squeal. There really isn’t any way around that with this or any other amplifier (fancy digital noise cancelling microphone/speaker sets excepted, possibly, but I have not seen one). So, that worked just fine.I wanted to try my wife’s use case, so I put on a N95 mask and then placed the boom microphone right next to the mask at various places, trying to get the same high amplification. I was not able to get it very loud at all, since the mask keeps the microphone from getting into the “kiss the mic” proximity that makes it nice and loud. The only way I could make the audio loud enough to be useful for an elderly patient was to stick the boom mic under the mask so it could be right next to my mouth when speaking. Although that made it nice and loud, I don’t think that solution would be acceptable to nit-picky healthcare people who would insist that it defeats the seal on the N95 mask and so cannot be used that way. If the boom mic could be mounted inside the mask and only a thin wire could be run into the mask, that would probably work, but the boom on this (or any such device) is too thick and I don’t think she can use it that way.So, as advertised, this thing does what it says, and does it just fine, although I do take issue with it being marketed as a “bluetooth voice amplifier”. If there was a way to actually use a bluetooth microphone (that could be placed inside the mask) and use that as the bluetooth audio source, then this would probably be able to do what I need. I have not played around with the bluetooth feature to see if it is possible to link it up to one of my wireless earpieces, perhaps that would be possible, but the instructions don’t give any indication of how to do such a thing so I would be on my own.

Great for voice amplification
Just right for a large classroom or gym. Wearable and light. Might need a little more for a large gym but is a great aid to get kids attention and not strain your voice. Got when when I had to teach through a mask(so glad those days are over) but still use it quite often to avoid voice strain.

Works well, perfect for teaching large groups
I had saw this being a gift to other staffs to teach coming from distance learning. It sounds good, works well and it's loud enough

Acoustic qualities are nice, but problems in attaching the device to bel.
0ften when sitting down, the metal hook on the machine falls off my belt. It needs to be longer to avoid this repeated problem, which eventually destroys the machine over time. But using the sling around neck instead causes much screeching feedback. Acoustic quality is good.

Good Solution for Outdoor Meeting
If have a large crowd outside, this amplifier is perfect. Our Garden club would not listen because they could not hear the speaker. We tried them out at Board level and they were thrilled. Ended up buying 10 of them so anyone speaking could be heard. Easy to set-up and easy to instruct to a group. We had a bid on a sound system for $3000 and decided to try individual amplifiers instead. So glad we did. Could not be more pleased.

Small but Loud
This is a very nice portable speaker and microphone. As a person that speaks very low I carry this around regularly and use it for speaking to ensure everyone hears me clearly. It is great for any speaking engagement where you need to be heard. It is very small and easily concealed but packs good volume and crisp audio
