Q: What type of fabric is this? Cotton, rayon, polyester, etc?

I'm sorry but I don't think it said what type of fabric it was. But I do remember that they said it was washable. It was very beautiful!

Q: would this be good for home theater walls?

It is what I consider a lighter weight velvet. In my opinion you could use the fabric to cover walls. However this fabric has a nap; to achieve a consistent color I would suggest you have each panel nap running in the same direction. Hope this helps you.

Q: If I buy 10 yards, will this be one continuous length? I cannot use 10 individual pieces of fabric that is 1 yard long each piece.

Never actually made anything with it ! It is a stretch fabric but really has to be pulled to stretch -so l didnt think there would be a problem sewing it on the machine .
