1 X Hunter Green Velvet Fabric 45" By the Yard

Lovely velvet used as the backing on a hand cross stitched Christmas stocking. Just enough stretch to make it easy.

I bought this to recover some chairs, but like other reviews noted the color is dark (green/ black) and it’s very thin. You can see daylight through it. It could be a great craft fabric, but it is not an upholstery grade.

As far as the material goes, its true to the color you see, and is a nice weight. It's beautiful and well made. The price was nice, but the shipping was a rip-off!!!! The box that it was sent in, a toilet roller from your bathroom was thicker than the box it came in!! I paid twice the amount for shipping, for a 13 pound box! You do the math. I will not buy from this company again.

Has a tad more blue hue to it than shown, but still a nice shade of green.. soft and seems durable.. be aware that when cutting you will get fuzz everywhere

All of the velvet I bought from this company had to be returned. We bought it for photgraphic backgrounds for jewelry and crystals. It was labeled "medium weight" but it was very thin, wrinkly, and cheap looking. The fabric had lots of threads ready to unravel or snag and had a strange texture - almost see-through in some areas. I had bought a piece of gold stretch velvet from another company and it was gorgeous! I bought 5 others from this company and it was unusable.

The color was perfect

Color is slightly darker than the photo provided but the fabric doesn't feel soft at all, feels pretty 'plastic-y', not super pleasant.

Beautiful velvet much darker than the picture though almost a black green. Very large portion amazing price.
