This "Amazon Essentials Men's Long-Sleeve Water-Resistant Sherpa-Lined Puffer Jacket" is a great value.For the price, this is an excellent jacket. I am 5’8”, a 43” chest (at full inhale) and 33” at the natural waist (below the belly button), so I picked the large size, primarily as the jacket was stated as having 42-44” chest. (The large size was also stated as 36.5-38.5 waist, and 35.5-36” sleeve.) Previously, I almost always have bought a medium jacket size (and a large shirt size). This jacket has very light weight is warm at 33-40F and I love that. (Haven't been able to try it at lower temps.) This jacket doesn't fit me perfectly, but is a great value and I'll keep it...How does it fit… wearing a t-shirt and flannel shirt, I have about 3 extra inches in the chest. It is a little looser in the chest than I expected, but it is OK, I guess, if I needed to add a sweater or sweatshirt. Unlike the jacket on the model (Amazon photo) where the jacket comes down slightly below the waist, my jacket comes down even to bottom my crotch. And does not fit as quite tightly around the bottom as the model’s jacket. I measured the bottom from zipper to zipper and it was 48 inches, but when I put the jacket on, it is about 5 inches larger than my hips. So, fashionably (for me), the length and the bottom diameter aren’t exactly where I’d like them. The size medium MAY have been better BUT this large size is perfect for me in the shoulders and the sleeve length as the sleeves have just enough length that the sleeves don’t rise up if I put both arms forward. And, while the bottom is loose, I haven’t noticed the cold rising up from the loose bottom as the fleece is probably blocking it (@33-40F); at least for the three times I’ve worn it (in none to very low wind). The fleece hood is great and the top of the zipper isn’t so tight that I can’t get it all the way up to below my nose. I love that! (I can’t do that with a couple other “medium” size jackets I have. Although I can with my medium size, expense ski jacket.)You can’t see it in the picture but stretchy sleeve cuffs are 2-5/8” wide (perfect) and there is about 3 to 3-1/2” of “cuff” material (the stretchy portion + nylon) that is hidden under the sleeve in the photo. This is great for longer gloves as the ends will disappear under the sleeves. Thanks Amazon.How could this jacket be improved? It would be nice if there was a pull tie at the bottom to cinch the bottom tighter to the body.

My teenager LOVES this jacket. It is EXACTLY as shown, lightweight, soft and fits great. It have mild puffiness while super warm with the inside lining, Pockets are perfect. I love that I can even wear it.

Its a good fit, really warm, not really happy eith the zipper quality though. Ghe color is a perfect green and decent pockets. Overall useful to winter jacket

I live in Upstate NY and the winters can be brutal and hit unexpectedly. One of my coats was lost by a coat check at a club, and the other's zipper broke, so I was certifiably unprepared for winter. I looked FOREVER for a good winter coat that wouldn't make me look like an oompa loompa but would still keep me warm and, while this is fairly noisy, it does the job! The inside is extremely warm and soft, and the outside dries very fast, which is great, considering I'm on-campus for several of the winter months and don't want to be dripping down the halls and into my room or classes. It's big enough to wear your sweaters and warm clothes under it comfortably without feeling you have to adjust, without feeling like it's so big a draft is coming through. I love it!

Moved to AVL in Oct 2023. Wanted a casual (daily) jacket that would keep me warm in the in winter without weighing me down. This one is perfect for our weather. So far, I have worn it with just a long-sleeve Henley down to the low 20-degrees (F) and it keeps me perfectly warm. The jacket fits me perfectly and is very comfortable. This is a legit purchase and review. You can't go wrong with this jacket, especially for the price.

The jacket is as advertised. I especially like that it has good-sized pockets and it is long enough for a tall woman! Although it is inexpensive, I did not think it lacked anything in comfort or usefulness. I love it, and wear it all of the time.
