SwaddleMeLuxe Easy Change Swaddle - Small/Medium, 2 Pack, Gum Drops, 0-3 Months (58763)

I had these 4 years ago for my son and kept them but I wanted some with girly prints so I got these. I washed them once for getting ready for the hospital and they were a great alternative than trying to swaddle with a regular hospital blanket. After washing them another time (with cold water as I only wash with cold water) they shrunk quite a bit and I want able to use them anymore. ie as super shocked as they were fine. I washed them again with laundry softener and tried to stretch them and let them air dry and still, they were too small (and my daughter was still trying to gain back her birth weight).I purchased a second box and washed only one swaddle and compared it then with an unwashed one, and there was at least a 5in difference in the length of the arm wrap section. i cannot recommend them and totally don't know why this happened but they have become useless after the first wash.

I ordered these when my son was 2 weeks old because he was a lot smaller than we expected him to be (5 lbs 10 oz) and all the swaddles I had purchase prior to his birth were miles to big.These swaddles were amazing to start with and were a game changer for us. He had a INTENSE startle reflex and this allowed him to sleep (finally!!). However he is now going to be 8 weeks and he is breaking out of these swaddles all over the place. He is not even 10 lbs yet so I know it’s not a size issue. I think it’s because the Velcro wears out quite quickly. However, these swaddles are decently priced I am considering purchasing new ones…I was a bit disappointed in the quality. The seams are coming loose on the grey one and one of the little strings actually got caught on our little guy’s toe and gave him quite a scare. Also, holes have appeared in the grey one as well, however the other two seems to be fine.Cons-Velcro wears out quickly;Seams are coming apart on the grey swaddle; andWill shrink if put in the dryer.Pros-Good price;Soft;Lightweight (perfect for summer);Cute designs; andFit our small baby.

These are amazing! They make life so much easier because I do not have to unswaddle and bother my baby to change her! I can just unzip and change her. They are not too thick and the patterns/colours are adorable.Trust me you need a few of these!

Game changerThe zipper at the bottom makes my night time changes 100x easier. Although if you put your baby in a sleeper that does not have a dual zipper ( one at top and bottom) you have to unswaddle your baby to reach the zipper at the top

Quite small and my son was only able to sleep in them for a month, not very worth the price considering how short they can be used. The muslin blankets are much more practical, and cheaper too.
