Used this 3M tape to re-attach my weather tech rear bumper guard which was failing miserably. Took the old tape off and cleaned with alcohol. Applied the new 3M tape without issue. The backer took a little effort to remove. I used a hair dryer to heat the surface and apply. Application worked great. I’ll follow up with a long term review of the adhesion.

This 3M 1/4 inch double adhesive faced tape is just what I needed to secure some newly purchased auto window vent visors. Used this tape to replace the tape that came with the window vent visors. The 3M tape in top notch. Would buy and use again.

Got these to use on a door pool alarm system because I didnt know how well the tape that came with pool alarm would be. So glad I got some this. I had a very narrow edge to put a piece of alarm on and used this as the tape they gave you did not hold up. It worked like a charm and we passed inspection. I will have to say it was not easy to pull backing off. It feels a bit like still jelly and it took me a bit to get it.

I have Weathertech ventvisors on a sedan that attach in the window channel. The two sided tape used by the manufacturer is not very good despite the price and I have had pieces fall out. This tape is thin and narrow, so it works great to replace the original tape. I scraped off the old tape, cleaned the surfaces with rubbing alcohol, let it dry before applying this tape and then reinstalled the ventvisors.

Make sure you get the clear one, the others work however the clear one is the best.

This is the best tape but sometimes the end doenst have non stick and the last round gets stuck on the cardboard. Out of 4 rolls only one had non stick on the cardboard roll.You lose ten inches so you don’t get the full product you payed for.
