Vargo Titanium Fire Box - Ultralight Portable Camping Fire Box

just not great i dont recommend , to small ,fire goes out before anything boils, i actually didnt see me ever using again and lost my money and didnt want to sell it , and threw it in my garbage. i kept the case which is better than the product.

I chose the Vargo Titanium Firebox instead of the Vargo grill because I wanted the option to use my own cook/grill plate. trail tested this Vargo firebox for 5 days as my only source of cooking and heat.this stove is super ultra light and packs tiny. yet it is the perfect size for grilling with Binchotan charcoal in the field. Its cook/fire surface is bigger than other ultra-light stoves so it requires less tending and has a better heat spread.Also I stick a Vargo titanium Shepard hook tent stake through and onto it during use to keep it safe from blowing over in the wind.works well with wood fuel as well.Not too many air holes so the fire stays in control. Its a quick and easy firebox that is trustworthy and can boil small or large amounts of water.can be stored flush against my pack table without its case. It handles heavy top loads in a stable manner even with the fourth side in its natural unhinged state. for best stability, i use a small wire tie to hold the unhinged area tightly closed.I expected to hate this stove, but ended up loving it instead.
