Works Great
I have had a Celestron Nexstar 8SE since 2017. It has the RJ9 connector on the hand controller and the adapter cables were too expensive fro Celestron. I saw this cable and purchased it. It works great. I connected it to my Windows 10 laptop and it set it up with no issues. I then connected the telescope to the laptop and brought up the Celestron software. It found the telescope right away and I was able to update it for the first time. I am also able to control the telescope with no problems. Very happy with it.

Works great, nice length.
I bought it thinking I could use it to control my NexStar* mount. Unfortunately, that requires a NexStar+ hand controller. I guess punctuation matters. At least I was able to use it to update my firmware. But I don't know if I want to shell out for a new hand controller.

Does not work on a Celestron CPC.
Hooked it up between my laptop and telescope. Power ON. The CPWI software is unable to connect.

Does it work for NexStar+? YES! I am up dated in the firmware for my Celestron Telescope.
Plug and play. Worked for upgrading my telescope.

Worked fine with Windows 7
Worked great after I downloaded the driver. I did have to use it on a Windows 7 PC for some reason my Windows 10 PC did not like it. Therefore the 4 stars.Once connected I was able to update my Celestron Hand Controller.
