Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [GlasTR EZ FIT] Designed for Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra [9H Hardness/Case-Friendly]

This is great protection for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra screen. You are getting 9H scratch protection, and will protect also from ball bearings dropped at a height of 6ft repeatedly. I actually did a bit of research on screen protection for the S8 Ultra, and came out feeling confident about the Spigen screen protector. It is a little pricier than some of the others, but it also comes with a pretty much foolproof centering tool for super easy installation, so you know you will get it on right the 1st time, and not need to have a 2nd try on another protector. Your tablet goes into this plastic mold, with the screen protector put onto this lid that lines up so easy a child can do this, really. Just follow the directions, and you will have a great screen protector, in the proper position on your tablet, without any of the stress of trying to line it up yourself. Oh yeah, I should mention too why this screen protector is the one you want. If you are an artist or like to draw like I do, you probably will prefer the feel of the pen on a glass surface like the tablet screen itself feels like, and this Spigen screen protector feels exactly like its not even there, as if you were drawing on the tablet itself without any glass. I know some artists prefer a matte feel, and if that's your preference to each their own, and there are matte finishes you can lay over top. But, I personally prefer the smoothness of glass without any artificial friction. Also, your S-Pen tip will last much longer with a non-matte glass screen protector. Hope this helps anyone considering this protector. I'm very happy with it, and feel you can't go wrong with this for excellent protection that is easy to properly install on 1st try. It does smudge some if I have been tapping and swiping on the tablet for a while, but it's easily cleanable with one of those sticky roller tablet things, or just a microfiber cloth. I have both on my tablet stand and they work great on the Spigen cover to give me a spotless working surface. So, overall, while this protector may be pricier than others, and you probably could investigate and find similar quality protection for a cheaper price, this is, in my humble opinion, the one you want to go for if you are at all concerned that you are gonna mess up the installation like I was, lol.. For me it was worth the extra cost to know it was on proper without any fuss getting it there. And as far as quality protection , it's up there with the best if not the best itself. I sat there watching this guy dropping ball bearing after ball bearing from on top a ladder, smashing the protector repeatedly, only to remove it revealing not a scratch on the tablet glass beneath. Also, I feel this type of protection is preferable over hydrogel because the hydrogel adds some friction to the surface, and if you are using the S-Pen on it, in my personal opinion, it's not running as smoothly on the glass. Which makes sense, because the hydrogel isnt glass, it's a gel coating. So, you will have more friction.. For some people, this may not be a concern for them, and so certainly hydrogel is another option, although this is also expensive, maybe even more so depending, and I personally prefer the Spigen glass feel. Fingerprint scanner works fine with this for me too, though I do have the sensitivity turned up. Hope this helps anyone.

I read some reviews about poor alignment, dust, etc. Having installed literally hundreds of phone screen protectors, I knew there's always a chance of getting static-related dust and other particulates under the screen protectors.I hope people read this and take this advice and review into consideration.First and foremost, I can't stress this enough, you need the air to be somewhat humid to prevent static. Due to the size of tablet screen protectors in general, peeling the backing off will generate static, especially in really dry air. If you don't have a humidifier, run your shower on hot water for a couple minutes and install the protector in the bathroom if you have to. There tend to be fewer particulates in kitchens and bathrooms, and with pets, as odd as this sounds, the bathroom has never let me down. If you're shy on flat surfaces in the bathroom, lay something solid across the sink. Lay the install tray flat and follow the directions from there. If you can, peel the backing off slowly. Due to the size, this may be a little difficult, but taking your time will allow for a perfect installation.I wash my hands with dish soap and then alcohol to ensure I don't leave any fingerprints on the device or the screen protector's adhesive side.I love the tray/pin style alignment. With the backing peeled, I found if you hold the protector where the tabs are, align the tabs and try to get them hooked before allowing the protector to touch the device's screen. once aligned on the pins, let the protector drop onto the screen. Swipe along the arrow and let it rest. It'll do most of the bubble removal for you. After a couple of minutes, the remaining air trapped as bubbles can easily be pushed toward the edges and completely removed for a perfect installation.Once this is installed, know it's not going to protect your screen if you drop the device. it will, however, protect the screen if you happen to do what I did and drop a phone on the screen. Yeah, I dropped a new Galaxy S22 Ultra without a case onto a brand new Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. I believe the protector saved me from cracks and scratches. I don't foresee having to replace this screen protector, but if I do, I will be buying this one again.I highly recommend this product. Once it's installed, you don't notice it's there. It is so clear it doesn't affect the screen sensitivity or image quality. I even set up my fingerprints first, installed the screen protector, and tested the unlocking of the device with my fingerprints and no recalibration was necessary. It's that clear!As fas ease of installation, well, if you've gotten this far, none of these are super easy, but this one is by far the easiest and is the only one, to date, that uses a tray.I would have liked to see the screen protector inserted into the tray first, secured by the tabs, peel the backing off, and lay the device into the tray or the tray placed over the front of the device for easier installation and alignment. Maybe in the future, they can take this into account, but for now, I still say this is the best and easiest to install

The spring protector was great, perfect enough. Besides a little bit of hair that's slowly becoming unnoticeable. An imperfections, hearing from here, it's pretty much a perfect install.Well adjustnity not the spring precider for my fault for not cleaning the screen protector and putting it otherwise is not noticeable and it's perfect that and don't come off

I absolutely love this protector. I tried a cheap one and should have known better. It looked like there was an oily film over my screen. The Spigen protector goes on so easily and looks crystal clear. It's very responsive and I didn't have to redo my fingerprint.The few bubbles I got came out easily with the included squeegee. The only reason I can't give this five stars is when placing the protector the tray wouldn't align with one of the guideposts on the guide. I got it to work fine without the tablet but once I put the tablet in the tray the guide was just slightly out of alignment. This may not be everyone's experience, however.Recommended to buy for the value and quality. Spigen is a trusted brand and this is an excellent product.
