I ordered a size smaller than I am.Even though it was like stuffing a 10 pounds of crap into a 5 pound bag I was able to zip it up. I love the back straps this this is the answer to all of my back issues and if it helps me lose these last 7 to 10 pounds I've been struggling with then that's icing on the cake.The first time I wore it was to referee four youth football games. Damn is this thing great for the cold. It was 40 degrees and the only part of me that felt any chill was my arms. When I got home and took it off there was easily pounds of sweet released and my back felt better than it did when I got up that day.This thing is greatNot only would I recommend this for weight loss I absolutely stand behind the back support aspect. I was able to slide an ice pack inside. I was in heaven.

Before it wore down it was the best most sturdy feeling brace I've ever tried. Attaching a back brace to an entire vest is a great idea, and much more stable than a brace alone. But doing anything repeatedly physical in this will eventually bend the bottom of the waist strap out of place, and it won't stick like it used to. Happens with every brace I've tried. Doesn't help that the velcro portion is in 2 thin strips rather than just one big velcro surface. If only there was a way to make these with something similar to the convenience of velcro, but with a more robust and reliable technology to fasten it.

I’m giving this product a three star because the waist straps when fastened make the abdomen area to stiff to move around for certain exercises. As well as, makes the vest a little uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time due to that. Other than that, it’s works as it should and the back support plate works nicely

I've been exercising (walking the dog 5+ Miles twice a day) I just took her for a "short walk" (3 miles.) with this vest on. I'm sweating as if it was mid-August.
