My cat is usually sweet, but she HATES nail trims. Her reaction is always to bite hard and not let go. This bubble-muzzle worked great! It’s easy to take on and off, and is made of thick plastic so it seems like it would be hard to break. I like that cats have “range of motion” as the bubble fits like a collar around their neck. I’ve tried “over the mouth” muzzles in the past and they always distressed my cat.My poor cat tried to bite me several times while I was giving her a nail trim, but the “bubble” stopped her. She gave up after a minute and actually became much calmer. She was able to move her ears, talk to me, and turn her head. I had treats ready to go when the bubble came off, and she seemed pretty chill, AND she no longer had sharp nails!

Our cat absolutely hates getting her nails trimmed, but this device has been a game-changer! It keeps us safe from her bites while still allowing us to get the job done. It fits securely and doesn’t seem to bother her too much (aside from the obvious disapproval in her eyes, lol). Definitely recommend for anyone struggling with an aggressive or fussy cat during grooming!

Have a Tortie with lots of Tortitude who hates having her nails cut. Was a 2 person operation with a major battle. Have used this 2x now and still a 2 person operation, but the battle has been reduced to a slight initial squirmish followed by acceptance and no accidental bites. Easy on and off, fits as stated, and well worth the money…!

I have a very sweet maine coone boy kitty. Until I try to trim his nails...then he turns into jet-powered battery acid and broken glass with a few razors thrown in. I bled more trying to put this stupid muzzle on him than in any of my last 5 attempts to trim his nails without! Simply put, if this is easy to put on your cat, you don't need to put it on your cat. Also, lots of places that ears can get pinched, or whiskers stressed. And the hinge is a bit flimsy.Great idea, not a great product.

As can be seen in the photos, the ball halves don’t stay aligned and slip sideways when closed and move further into each other (velcro is not even tight). Flimsy hinge, and quality not as expected. Very disappointed! Picked the one that was slightly priced higher thinking this must be a good quality. Wrong! Leave 3 stars since the whole breathable clear ball head piece is better than the other muzzles that don’t give cats much freedom. Also like the idea of the velcro closure.

I used this in conjunction with a swaddle blanket. It worked great! My cat tried to bite and hiss but obviously couldn’t. The blanket prevented his back feet from bunny kicking me. I wish I searched for this a long time ago. I can finally cut my cat’s nails without getting hurt!

did it's job in guarding the cat from biting me but did come off half way into cutting the cat's nails and I got bit. If you use it please be careful and make sure the neck piece is on snug enough not to choke but so the cat cannot take off the muzzle. I'd more recommend something like a suit or full body suit connected to the muzzle so they cannot take it off.
