This wood chips are a beautiful golden colour as I don’t like the dark stuff that looks very dirty and muddy. I bought this for a patch in my garden so my dog can use it to go toilet, it makes it easy to pick up and doesn’t matter if you have to throw a little bit of the chippings away as there are plenty. Also it is suitable for chicken runs and animal pens Also, the product turns up dry as a bone which makes it very light to carry the bags. I am over the moon with this product.

Excellent hardwood chips. Perfect for the chicken run. Very pleased with these, the chips are a good size, the price pretty good and because they are hardwood they have lasted for the entire winter.I learned about this brand from a chicken forum, and can see what they got good reviews there.Yes, I’d definitely recommend them, and I have to several other chicken keeper friends.

I have bought these multiple times. Excellent quality and amazing ground cover for chicken coops. They help keep the ground dry and odour free and are very long lasting

I did think it would provide more coverage than it did as the "chips" were actually a lot more chunky than expected I thinks personally to be chicken wood chip it mostly needs to be at least halved in size. Initial smell lovely, but having to rake twice a week and going to have to replace much much sooner than expected to to large surface area meaning it's not as good for the chooks as I would like and a lot less muck absorption than expected from quantity. Sadly due to flock down and winter I needed to cover the floor as now stuck in a covered metal run on concrete as the ground in my area is too soft and boggy to put it on the grass (mud swamp within 2 days)

i ordered two bags of these. They came fastand also well packaged. The bags filled my 2x2 main area walk in run and also the eglu extension which is 1.1 metre that connects on! I will probably get some more bags as time goes on, but these have provided a nuice dry area to walk on and scratch about in! The chickens would thank you if they could!

Two 70l sacks gives a very thick covering in the run. This will make a huge difference . The ground inside is now dry and a lot more pleasant for the hens. Highly recommended.

Bag size easy to handle and chip size consistent without too much dust - ideal size for chicken kicking and scraping! I love the fact that they have come from kiln dried logs and being hardwood, should last for ages..

Great for on the chicken run rake them up every morning and they have them scattered by night time
