IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro – Professional Streaming in the Palm of Your Hand
IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro – Professional Streaming in the Palm of Your HandAs someone who works frequently with live streaming and podcasting, I was in the market for a compact yet powerful audio interface. After trying the IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro, I’m thoroughly impressed by its performance and versatility. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about improving their streaming quality without the hassle of a complex setup.Design and Portability:The first thing you’ll notice about the iRig Stream Pro is its compact design. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, making it incredibly portable for on-the-go setups. Despite its small size, the build quality feels solid, and the controls are clearly labeled and intuitive. This device is perfect for musicians, podcasters, or streamers who need high-quality audio in a portable format.Multi-Input Mixer:One of the standout features of the iRig Stream Pro is its in-line multi-input mixer. You can connect multiple audio sources simultaneously—whether it’s a microphone, an instrument, or even a computer audio feed—making it incredibly flexible for live streams. The ability to mix these inputs directly from the device gives you real-time control over your sound, ensuring professional-quality audio without needing a full studio setup.Sound Quality:In terms of sound, the iRig Stream Pro delivers professional-grade quality. With 24-bit, 96 kHz audio, your streams and recordings sound crystal clear. I’ve used it to stream both voice and music, and the clarity is fantastic with no noticeable latency or distortion. Whether I’m live-streaming a podcast or recording music, the sound quality meets professional standards.Streaming Features:The iRig Stream Pro is designed with streamers in mind. It has Loopback+ functionality, allowing you to integrate background music or audio from your device seamlessly into your stream without any complicated wiring. This feature has been especially useful for adding sound effects or background tracks during live sessions. It also supports stereo and multichannel modes, giving you the flexibility to choose the best option for your stream.Compatibility:The device works effortlessly with multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. It connects directly to streaming apps like OBS or Instagram Live, making it a breeze to set up. Whether you’re using a phone, tablet, or computer, the iRig Stream Pro offers broad compatibility, which makes it a one-size-fits-all solution for most setups.Ease of Use:What really sets the iRig Stream Pro apart is how simple it is to use. You don’t need to be a sound engineer to figure out the controls. The gain controls and input level indicators are user-friendly, so you can easily adjust your levels on the fly. Plus, it has a dedicated headphone output with its own volume control, allowing you to monitor your sound in real-time without delay.Drawbacks:While it’s an excellent device overall, there are a couple of minor downsides. First, while it does include phantom power for condenser microphones, it’s limited to 48V, so it might not be suitable for mics requiring more power. Second, the multi-channel mode could be a bit more streamlined in terms of setup, especially for beginners who aren’t familiar with DAWs or advanced routing. Conclusion:The IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro is an outstanding tool for streamers, musicians, and podcasters alike. It offers studio-quality sound in a compact, portable package and provides flexibility with its multi-input mixer and compatibility across platforms. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, professional-quality audio interface for streaming or recording, the iRig Stream Pro is an excellent investment. This review focuses on the core features, performance, ease of use, and minor drawbacks, providing a balanced assessment of the product.

Smartphone video recording with external audio
Got this to record live video with line level audio from mixer. Serves the purpose just right. Although the product is great, it was not in a sealed box. It appeared was opened and the product packaging looked old and mutilated. Luckily accessories and user guide was intact. Disappointed to receive an opened/used product passed as new. @Seller, if not for the product, you deserve to get less than 2 stars. Please be professional and ethical

High priced
It is working really great so far. It seems it has a monopoly in this sector.Phone battery gets drained very fast. At this exorbitant price, why don't they give the power adaptor too?Third party adapter which I bought didn't work with my irig stream.
