Out of the box motor issues
Planes nice , think the motor is faulty, sounds like it’s shorting out when throttling up -have not flown a maiden yet -bit concerned -same issue with my umx mustang -no other planes I own have that issue -just bad luck -…

Landing gear is bouncy and causes crashes.
If I had it to do all over again I'm not sure if I would have purchased this. My flying field has a nylon runway and even when the experts fly this habu 50 it bounces badly. Once I removed the gear it belly lands much better. I'm not a big fan of the plane but I will order more horizon eflite off of Amazon.

Not enough power
Even on 4S you have to keep full throttle if you want a shot at keeping it in the air. Not impressed at all with this thing. Crashed every time I flew because of a stall or not enough power.

Good, for the most part...
Ok, so I bought this from horizon hobby in October, just maidened it last week, been flying it nonstop. What I like is that it is a good EDF, and the fact that it is a BNF makes everything so much easier without having to juggle around different transmitters. Now, here are my complaints: First, the nose is very prone to falling off. The way to fix this is just put a toothpick in it and glue the nose back together when it comes off. Next, it does go 70 miles per hour, which means you have to fly in a large field. Also, even though the fact it come apart does make it good for repairs, it is not repair friendly. The fuselage rips VERY EASILY when trying to repair control horns and the motor. Also, the screws strip somewhat easily and get lost if you drop it. It also does show you how to use the bind button and bind plug to use safe select, but it isn't very clear on assigning a switch. If this is your first rc plane or non-chinese-amazon-thing, I highly recommend the 1.1-meter Aeroscout as a good, forgiving rc plane.

Awesome.
Easy to fly even when it is 35 degrees. If you have successfully mastered a trainer plane this edf will be easy to get up in the air. Just an all a round fun plane to fly. And don't worry if you bounce it, it can take it.
