Item is faulty ,drops of reading the revs
Initial impression was that this may be an okay item for the money(it is cheap so I wasn't expecting much). I wanted to use this on a Yamaha wr250r to check what revs I was using on main roads etc. Managed to get 6 wraps around the coil top as it's a stick type coil. Once all back together and mounted up it appeared to be working and displayed the same revs as the bike while the bike was in diagnostic mode.However later in the day on its first outing the revs kept on stopping being displayed. Will try and get it working again today otherwise it will have to be returned as faulty.
