Behrens Manufacturing 0000-OV Oval Steel Tub, 1 gal, Classic zinc Finish

I have alot of products from Behren and I was a little disappointed by the seams being jagged but I have also never purchased anything dipped until now. I will say that regardless of that, it holds water with no leaks and is very adorable. It goes well with the small wash board they offer (its almost a perfect fit) and it looks great. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Very poorly made, with uneven seams and finish, and sharp edges and protruding metal defects. Product bottom was not level and oval was not true and irregular in shape. I wouldn’t pay $1.00 for this product, let alone $20. Very disappointed. Plus, it is not American made as stated in the video—it’s made in Mexico.

6 year UPDATE -Still holding up just fine. I leave them out year round and they are still whole and un-rusted. The current $24 price take, though? Glad I bought them when they were half that. I wouldn't buy again for the new price.Original review -I ordered these for my vegetable garden to use as marigold pots. They are just the right size for 1 or 2 in each. They're plenty sturdy for my needs, but they're thin enough that drilling drain holes was absurdly easy.My only complaint is that of the 6 I ordered, 2 had some sharp metal exposed. So, a little word of warning when handling.

We have a couple of feline splashers - they like to hit or play in their water prior to drinking, which tends to leave half or more of traditional water bowl contents on the floor. This tub has worked great. It's been a year and a half and I'm choosing to buy another because a bit of mold is finally starting to grow inside near the water line. (When I was cleaning weekly with a mild bleach solution, then washing and rinsing super well, this never happened; it's not the cats fault that I got lazy. So they get a new tub.)No leaks, and even when the cats play water polo, fewer spills. Very pleased.

So cute, a little pail. I ordered the 1 gallon and use it as a water pail for my outdoor dogs and cats. It matches the general decor of the rest of my house rather than an ugly plastic bowl that my dog can chew on. He can't carry this pail into the yard and chew and destroy it like all the plastic ones.
