Great for multi room house.
Great choice of chimes including Jingle Bells for Christmas! The double sided stick on which attaches to doorbell is very strong. The transmitter can be easily plugged in, in different rooms, living in a large house this is ideal for us. The volume is reasonable but would be better slightly louder for me being slightly deaf. Great doorbell at a great price.

Great value great product
I purchased this technet doorbell WA878Set up is very easy using decent instructions.. 3 buttons on the unit. Set up , music and volume. The quiet volume is a bit quiet and the middle is a bit of a jump and a lot louder but position of the unit is key here so it’s ok. Depending where you will plug it in. it’s good for hard of hearing people as the unit can be set to flash with a blue LED light when doorbell is pushed. This unit gives you options to have chime or LED on there own. Or chime and LED.There is a load of different tunes Which i recognised or was familiar with. They can be quite long averaging about 18 seconds long and are made up mainly of organ sound, xylophone percussion instrumental tunes. There is a lot to choose from including a few regular sounding door bell ding dong chimes also there are Some seasonal and occasionalLike happy birthday. We wish you a merry Christmas etc really good value for money. There’s one that is a female saying “Hello Wellcome” and a dog barking cockerel crowing and a few other animal noises to choose if you wish. Comes with battery in the doorbell. And different fixings for this two screws and raw plugs and a double sided sticky tape that i used and is perfect for my needsI can recommend this product. Does what it sets out to do. Good quality at a good price. Can’t comment on waterproof quality as it’s indoors but would seem well made.

Works Perfectly Even Through Thick Stone Walls
Our house is an old, stone-built place with very thick exterior walls. Our old wireless doorbell (bought from a local supermarket) was rather hit-and-miss: partly too quiet, partly the battery-powered receiver losing power, partly range issues through the thick walls. But the worst issue was that the pushbutton was a sort of rubber dome. Often, if someone pressed it with a 'heavy finger', the button would get stuck - and future presses would not register until I pried the awful rubber button free. We have missed many, many deliveries because of that dreadful doorbell; I wanted to install a 'proper' wired doorbell, but getting the wires routed through all the stone walls was going to be an issue. So, in the end, I decided to give wireless one last try and purchased this Tecknet doorbell. It arrived in decent packaging - a nice, tidy, sturdy little box, well-packed in a padded envelope. Despatch and delivery was very prompt (next day), and thankfully our old doorbell hadn't got stuck, so the courier managed to get it to us. The item arrived in pristine condition.Installation was very straightforward - for the bellpush, I just had to pull out the little tag which keeps the battery disconnected in transit, and then I opted to attach it to the door using the provided double-sided peel-and-stick foam tape. I carefully cleaned the area of the door with isopropanol first, and it has stuck firmly - seems like a good bond. Screws and fixings are included as well. The receiver was operational as soon as I plugged it in; there are a few options to configure, but the default settings are reasonable. Hint: configure the receiver before mounting the bellpush, it will save you a lot of to-and-fro! Configuring the receiver is done by three buttons on its side: one cycles through the chime (I opted for the default 'ding dong'), one cycles through the loudness (I opted for maximum, which is a good level and noticeably louder than the predecessor) and the last cycles through the brightness of the visul indicator - I left this alone, as the receiver is plugged in in a location where it is not easily visible. It is slightly annoying to have just one button per setting - if you 'miss' the setting you want you have to cycle through all the options again. Next/previous buttons would have been nice, but then it only takes a minute or two and you only ever have to do it once - and, as mentioned, it actually works fine right out of the box with no configuration. As to performance, the system works really well. The bellpush works perfectly - it even lights up when pressed, although this is not easily seen in full sunlight. The button shows no propensity to get 'stuck', and has a much better 'click' action than the old spongy rubber of the predecessor. In spite of our thick stone exterior walls and even interior stone walls, I had no problem locating the receiver - it seemed to work wherever I plugged it in; range seems to be no concern at all. Having the receiver be mains-powered rather than battery-powered is a great convenience - not only is the output louder, but there is no need to worry about a flat battery making the receiver inaudible. The bellpush is powered by a 12V 23A alkaline battery (included in the packaging). Although this is a slightly unusual battery, it seems to be quite easy to get, either at the local supermarket or on Amazon (you can get a pack of 5 for under £4). It is easy to pop off the cover with a fingernail when you need to change the battery - even if you have terrible fingernails, like me. The battery itself is located in a position which makes it easy to change - a sensible layout and design.Overall I am very satisfied with the system. My previous bell had left me thinking that wireless doorbells were worthless, and had resulted in so many missed deliveries. But no more: I am anticipating a much better relationship with the various couriers who come around from time to time. I wish I hadn't 'lived with' the old bell for so long before going for this replacement. Highly recommended - especially at the price.
