Super easy to mix by simply adding water. Dry mix so little waste. Dries a dull grey, easy to paint over. Sets hard

Needed to patch up a wall before painting. First time doing any render repair.+) good value +) easy to apply +) quick dry-) needed a mixing tool to mix which we luckily had attached to a drill, doing it manually would have been too hard-) had to use whole tub as powder was in tub (without being in a bag) was hoping it was in a bag so would have only used half ( half the bag)TIP- make sure you fix powder to loosen lumps before adding water will make mixing alot easier

We are frequently having to patch repair areas of render on an area of the house that gets the elements and there is some movement. I have used a few different products, but after using the Bostik product it is the only one I buy now. The small reinforcing fibres seem to be effective. Unfortunately as of May 2025 it seems to be unavailable on Amazon, B&Q or anywhere else. I hope it’s just a temporary supply issue.

It may be my fault but I thought I was buying a tub of Render Repair Mortar. When I opened the tub I was surprised to find that it isn’t mortar but a tub of dry powder that you have to add water to. I found that the only way do do this without a mechanical mixer was to mix small amounts at a time. It was difficult to get the correct consistency so that the render would stick. Spraying the surface before application certainly helped but it was still difficult to use. Doesn’t seem sticky enough. Got the job done in the end but much more difficult than I thought it would be.

I used this product to patch repair a lintel over my garage where the concrete had blown off. It was easy to mix and apply.The next day the mortar had set and felt very hard. There was a lot of powder in the tub so I'm glad I mixed a small amount which did the job. I now have some spare for another time.

The tub was much larger than I was expecting! I mixed a smaller amount in a separate bucket to trial it before commiting to the whole project of repairing/replacing some cracked render on the outside of the house. It's easy to mix. You can see fibres in it (when it's wet and dried) but it dries solid and sticks well. Appears to be durable and a few months later is holding up.
