Drive Devilbiss Gel Cushion with 3 Inch Depth, 16 Inch X 18 Inch

Bought for just over £18 from Amazon Warehouse, the box had seen better days but the cushion looked fine.Over half a century ago, whilst playing rugby, I dropped on a loose ball and was kicked up the backside for my troubles, cracking my coccyx bone. This has caused sitting discomfort for the rest of my life and various means of easing pressure have been used over the years. This cushion was the latest and one of the least expensive pads to aid sitting comfort and it does it admirably. It moulds slowly to my contours in my favourite armchair and I can sit for an evening watching TV, reading or listening to music. It is rare that I'm reminded of the longstanding damage to my back.My wife uses a wheelchair to attend hospital appointments and should it be needed, the cushion will serve its original purpose on a wheelchair's seat.Considering that gel cushions can cost well into 3 figures, this cushion is incredible value for what I paid. Bear in mind that it's also a good purchase at its full price and don't forget, if you're disabled, you can re-claim the VAT.

arrived on time, at a great price, very good quality and very comfortable, i use it in an electric riser recliner chair, as thats where i live most of my waking and sleeping hours, i use it combined with a Aidapt Inflatable Pressure Relief Ring Cushion partially inflated and bought from the same supplier aids4mobility for just £4.35 delivered, a brilliant product i would recommend to anyone.

Very Hard compared to other ones I have bought same Brand. , but much more Comfortable.

I'm sitting and working on my bed and it always gave me lower back pain. Tried different types of cushion as they did not work.This one works perfectly! The gel creates the right level of softness.

Bought this for my grandfather's wheelchair. He's 6'2 but unfortunately the cushion just isn't deep enough. Would be perfect if it was a 4 or 5" cushion instead! Great value for money though and very comfortable he said

Bought for my wife, who always uses her wheelchair when she's out and about. She found that after a while the seat in her wheelchair began to be very uncomfortable...so she purchased this gel seat. She absolutely loves it, finds in much more comfortable that the original seat. Cushions her derriere nicely against the vagaries of the great British pavements. Wipe clean upper half of the gel seats repels rain water and other liquidy spills.

I had been hoping the gel would make the cushion a lot softer to sit on. So very disappointed as i could not feel the gel softness!
