Outstanding Customer Service
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this generator a few months ago. It came in pristine condition, however there was an issue with the power to get it started. I message AIVolt, and they responded promptly to help me. They offered to pay for a repair technician to come out and get it fixed, but I opted to return it and purchased another one. The customer service was outstanding. I had a health issue that delayed me in getting it ready to be picked up, but they still honored the return over a month after I filed a claim! This is unheard of in the industry. They were kind, understanding, and very responsive every time I reached out. I would absolutely buy from them. I NEVER leave reviews, but this was such a great experience I felt obligated to spread the message. Thank you AIVolt. You are a the example that every company should model from when it comes to customer service.

DO NOT BUY !
This is false advertisement. Not even close ! On the 50 amp plug this unit kept shutting off with a 3000 watt load . This can only power lights and refrigerator, I have 3 a/c units on my 5th wheel . This unit could barely power up one and after about 1 min of trying to run A/C my thermostat on the rv will display the “shed” ! This unit is trash and falsely advertised . I may have this independently tested just to slap a law suit on all parties involved . Pulled out my old noisy 6kw generator and guess what ! All 3 of my a/c units turned on and stayed on . Running test with all 3 running is 4800 watts . This is bad business , amazon for selling this trash with misleading information, AI volt for dishonest business practices . And a HUGE inconvenience especially when you buy a new generator and on paper it spec’s more than capable to support what electrical loads I have , only to fail with anything over 2000wats while you are trying to enjoy your weekend trip but only lead to disappointment!

CO2 sensors issues
*******Update:******Only issue I had was it not wanting to run in the back of the truck while driving and would cut off because of the CO SENSOR. I couldn’t find any info online so if you’re looking for it, it is in the front corner, behind the control panel. Takes a little work to get to it. To “test” the sensor to see if it’s the problem, you need to GROUND out the WHITE WIRE. The whole harness can be removed, just connect your 2 remaining blue plugs that will still be in the generator back together. This is a review for the 8000w modelBest way I found to get this thing out of the box was to cut the top open, roll box onto its side so both wheels are on the ground and the exhaust is pointed at the ground, then easily roll it out of the box and then lower the front to the ground.Added right at .75 qt of conventional oil (oil not included) the little funnel included is nice for what it is. Thread’s nicely into the hole and has a big enough opening to not make a mess pouring oil in. Added some gas, connected the battery and the thing fired right up and sounded good. Started button maybe seems a little quirky, maybe I wasn’t pushing it at the right angle or holding it down long enough but had to push it a couple times to get it to start, but once it started turning over, started right up.Was able to plug my 50 amp rV cord straight into the generator without any adaptor. The switch needs to be on 120v for that plug to work. I started turning on appliances to see how much power they pull. I was successfully about to run 2 air conditioning units, the water heater and microwave all at once pulling right at 6000w. Each one increased the load roughly 1500 watts. The real test will be in a couple weeks, plan on running both air conditioners for long periods of time. Both pull 3200 watts together and I’ll be tracking fuel consumption also while doing so.I feel like it’s slightly louder than my previous predator 3500 from hobo freight but overall it’s not too bad. But the predator would not run much more than 1 ac and some lights and mine kept going into overload protection. For the size, weight, power output and price I think this is a good product, hopefully it last a while

8000 watt
Since amazon or sellers like to lump all reviews for same maker items This is for the AIvolt 8000 watt dual fuel .. delivered with care , and box in good shape .. removed generator and found all parts included packaged well . You do need oil before you start unit . does not come with oil ! Set the unit up added oil only .75 of a quart be sure and not over fill go by the dip stick not the label on the generator . if you go off the label you will over fill generator . Added Gas for the test turned knob to start and generator started right up . Let it run at 20 mins at idle the plugged in my 50 amp rv cord . ran both AC's and microwave periodically. Allowed the eco mode to set run speed and could hear unit rev up and down as ac's started and stopped during the 2 hr test .. max load was 4800 watts with both ac running and microwave on . 3800 with both ac. handled it with out issues .. Bought a 100 lbs propane tank but have not tested on propane .. treated gas and stored unit and hope i never need it . if i do i'm ready will more likely pull unit out every 45 days or so and test and make sure battery stays charged , pull cord if needed . so far without many hr of use i would recommend . the eco switch is a small button on the display panel hard to find ... so far so good . If i have future issues i will add them to this review .Up-date after 2 power failures here in Florida I am yet in another power outage from Milton . So far this unit as worked as expected . starts right up provides all the power needed for 50 amp 5th wheel with 2 ac's has been running now for 24 hrs without hiccup . sips the gas when not much of a load .only used 1/2 a tank all night long . Ac's were not working hard as with the hurricane cooler nights have come . still have not hooked up to propane but will later today once the gas runs out . so far so good 40 hrs on unit so far . So way to early to tell for longevity . for 1399 i would expect this to last many yrs and many hrs with proper maintenance
