Simple & Clean
If you are very familiar with compasses in general, you might make this an everyday carry. Why? It has none of the clutter that other compasses are loaded with. None of the inch/millimeter clog, none of the roamer scales no one uses and no numbers of degrees NSEW. Rotating the bezel moves the box and map alignment lines, not the pictograph symbols. It has a big magnifier that i like. It also does not have a declination adjustment scale... you do that in your head easily enough if you're compass proficient. The graphic designs are each 30 degrees wide, easy enough for calculating where you are going, ie half of 30 is 15, half of 15 is 7.5, half of that is damn near close enough. The only downside is how much they are asking to buy one.Not luminous at all, not recommended for beginners at compass work and not recommended if trying to explain to others the path taken, which would be cryptic to those not familiar with its' symbols. (hmm that could be an extra bonus)I like it. :^)

Worthless while moving
This is easily the most frustrating competition compass I've ever owned. The needle moves so much while in motion that it's impossible to use for running the needle or even keeping the map oriented correctly.
