This was perfect replacement to my RISE4 kit which had plastic paddles. One of my orginal paddles broke and this was easy to replace with no need to reopen the controller. Great quality, as usual from ExtremRate. I recently bought the standard 2 button Rise RMB and loved it. Wanted to upgrade to 4 back buttons and thought I would have to buy a total new kit. This saved me 20+ bucks over having to buy the full kit and it installed beautifully. Great products from this company.

Did I just waste my money? Started with the original 4 back button setup (plastic) purchased April 2022. By October 2022 the K1 button stopped working. Opened it up and found one of the tabs on the base plate that mounts to the controller, that holds the metal pin in place for the paddle to pivot, was broken. So, I ordered the available replacement kit. Still only in plastic at the time. Same part broke again a few days ago (August 2023). So I looked up the replacement again and was excited to see the 4 button metal version was now available. Thinking this would be the last time. No more worries of broken little plastic tabs. Well, no such luck. Everything in the kit is metal except the prone to break base plate! The piece that is the obvious weak point is still plastic smh. The new metal paddles/buttons feel great and an obvious upgrade from the plastic paddle feel but how long should I expect it to last before the same plastic tabs on the base break again? 6 months? Keep in mind I'm a casual player who works most of the week and plays a couple hours here and there. Maybe I should have just saved the money put into this controller for a PS pro controller. Extremerate, why isnt the base metal also, so that this is a true all metal long lasting kit?P.S. 2/4/24 and de ja vu. Same spot. One of the little plastic tabs holding the metal rod and paddle has broken off just like before. So other than the nicer feel of the metal paddles, the setup still doesn’t last 6 months. This time only 5.*If going to stick with the plastic base plate please consider reinforcing the little plastic tabs that hold the paddle pins so that they are not prone to breaking. Then this would be hands down a 5 star product. I have other extreme rate products that I love. Just wish could say the same about this one.

Great product, this is game changing and after using this you cant go back, I own a Dualsense Edge and still find myself picking up my original controller with these paddles.

Seems like a good product but didnt ship the shell to me.

I just ordered the metal paddles, I love the rise4 kit. The problem I’m currently having is the outer paddles (not the two in the center) keeps breaking after intensive use (plastic kit). I’m also wondering if this kit is more clicky? Yeah other than that love the products.
