Sturdy and dimensions to fit
Only just received this so will edit or re-review. Just added this photo of the back of the box because it has the dimensions I desperately wanted to see before I bought it :-)! LUpdate- tested out the window - strong and the daughter stood on the bottom rungs while i looked at the hook at the window. Only one question - the cross struts slot along a screw to hold the hooks apart. I could not tighten down the screw to hold it rigid so a slight worry the strut might come off and the hooks no longer be held apart rigidly. Should I be able to lock down the screw. Image attached. Fiddly, but fits over a modern window cill
The ladder is well made with sturdy fixtures and materials. It fits perfectly over a modern, new build window cill (inner cill, window frame and outer cill) and looks like it would remain sturdy if used in an emergency. The only annoyance is it’s very fiddly to keep all the rungs and straps neatly together, as they are easy to tangle and the Velcro strap isn’t brilliant.

Fits across "normal" window sills
Been looking for an escape ladder for a while - but couldn't find one big enough to go across the sillThis does and is well made. We are pleased and it sits in the wardrobe next to the window.

Fairly sturdy but wouldn't fit our window easily in a hurry
This is a fairly sturdy ladder but it was difficult to apply the hook at the top to our window board quickly. And that's something you don't want if you have a fire in the house. It would probably be perfect on a smaller window board and it does look like it would be very easy to use.

Great product - everyone should have one of these under the bed
Seems like a top product - lets hope we never need to use it.

Not had to use it yet
Well, I haven't had to use this, yet, but it's nice to feel that I can escape my apartment should I need to, I assume it is the right length etc, unfortunately I am unable to find a tape measure long enough to measure my building. With that in mind, I think this should be long enough, I haven't unboxed it yet as I don't want to jinx it and cause a fire.
