I actually love this. I think I was kind of skeptical but had an Amazon gift card and went for it since I’ve got a monster size German shepherd that is a fur machine. This connects to my Dyson easily and really gets the job done. She doesn’t mind the sound at all and seems to enjoy it like a massage. Great product!

I gave it 5 stars because of how well it works and my dog who hate vacuums, will actually chill a bit so I can use it on them. Once the brushing starts they melt a bit lol. It seems like quality and it fits my dyson animal as it should. The hose part is very helpful! So the cons are there are no instructions, its pretty obvious how to assemble and use but it has these 2 little pieces I have no clue what they are for but I used the rubbery one to brace the trigger on the vacuum to keep it in the on position hands free. Which is another con, you need a hand to push down the bar to reveal the brush, keep it on and hold or guide the pup, thats 3 hands, so you have to brace the power switch on, keep it on the ground and use the hose! It really dod a good job on my fluffy dog Bru who sheds like crazy. It collects the hair and brushes it out very well. I am so happy to have this, we had been looking for something just like this, the dogs hate our rubber attachment we used to use and you still had to brush them and make a mess. So highly recommend!!

This attachment doesn't work like I had hoped to help with the endless amount of hair produced by a Siberian Husky. (Really though...does anything help with that???)Our dog is not afraid of the noise, but the tines on the brush aren't long enough to get through his coat. It really just seems to skim the surface and pick up the really loose hairs.Also, the trigger lock does not fit my Dyson Outsize Plus. I had to get one of those elsewhere so I could even try this.

The brush itself feels nice to touch and does not bother my dogs. After brushing, with a little hand encouragement, the removed hairs flow easily in the opening to my V7. The only problem I had was with the trigger clip. It fell apart after my first use. The handle fell off of the clip and I couldn't get it to fit back on. This is a little bit of an issue to hold the V7 and the brush at the same time (I wonder why Dyson didn't make a trigger button that would lock for hands free use?).

This grooming kit fits perfectly on my Dyson V10 handheld vacuum. It's designed to look just like the other Dyson attachments. Unfortunately, after brushing my long-haired dog, the brush fails to release the hair well enough for the vacuum to pull it all in. The hair does seem to release from the tines but then catches on the rough edges of the tine holes which prevents it from being sucked in. Perhaps it would work better on short hair but I have no way to really test that. Also, the brush head has a button on back that has to be depressed to expose the brush tines and this is rather difficult to do because of the shape of the brush head itself; it would be nice if it was designed just the opposite - press the button to retract the tines so that the vacuum would then try to pull in the hair. It just doesn't work well for me but it may not be any different than any of the other aftermarket options out there.

We have a large dog who, while he's short haired, sheds all the time. This is a terrific way to control that - he doesn't mind it being used on him and it removes so much loose hair. We noticed a difference immediately even after the first use. It fits the Dyson very well and is not just easy to use, but easy to clean too - which is just as important. We have not used it on our cat yet but so far, it's really worked out well to keep the dog hair shedding to a minimum.In the box, you get 4 items - the brush attachment, a hose, and a brush tool. All seem to be made well and work just as they are supposed to.This a great alternative to taking your pup to the groomer to tame loose fur...or a great way to do maintenance between visits. Well worth the price and then some. I would recommend it to anyone with a pet - it definitely saves you a lot of vacuuming time!
