A ++++
Perfect works like I expected it to the only problem with this gun is the safety is always been a bear because it's so slick this extra hump really helps you get it on and off easier

Know what you're doing
No instructions, if you've never ventured into the safety nomenclature it's best you have a gunsmith do the work.

Nice Upgrade
I bought this to upgrade the selector on my 500. It's made well enough, but it is thinner than the original. Not a huge negative, but something to be aware of. Installation was easy enough. Just be aware of the ball bearing on top of the spring if you want to use the original ball bearing. It is a different size from the one they send with it.

Safety switch got stuck after install, had to modify ball detents
This did fit my Mossberg 500... however the safety would not slide once installed due to the ball detents not being deep enough (the steel ball gets stuck under it and jams up the safety).I was able to fix this by using a larger steel drill bit to "countersink" the ball detents slightly.Also adding white lithium grease on the bottom side helped to lubricate everything and the tackiness of the grease helped to retain the tiny ball during install (the ball loves to fall into the receiver or just bounce away).The safety does have a very good, grippy "bite" to it because of the way it is machined. It is a good safety switch design except for the ball detents not being big or countersunk enough. Easy fix if you're handy though, don't even really need to use a drill.
