It works as intended
This 5k btu unit AC works extremely well. I am in central Texas, it gets hot as hell down here. It is installed on my 10x10 insulated shed. nothing but electronics in it so It needs to keep the inside temp from 77-85 Degrees F. So far so good. It works a whole lot better than my 12k btu unit that was previously installed. More to follow.

Love this one
Amazing for my bedroom! I’ve had other brands/types and I love this one. The first one they sent me was broken and return/pickup was so easy! So easy to install and not super heavy!

Super quiet and works great!
I am very impressed. Super-fast shipping. Very simple to install. Lightweight but powerful. I have a room that's 10 x 30. It's rated for 150 square feet, but after 20 minutes I had to dial it back to the low setting. Super quiet on low. So much better than the A/C that it replaced. I am very pleased so far. Hopefully it lasts awhile.

Wonderful
I’m not understanding the low reviews of some. I didn’t see them until after I purchased, which had me disappointed in my purchase. With that being stated…This is a great little air conditioner. It’s very basic. Weighs about 40lbs. Pushes out a lot of cold air. I’m a 53 year old female and I put it together and placed in the window myself. I was very nervous about doing it myself but I sucked it up and went for it (since the description says one person could install it themselves) And, to God be the glory, I did it!!! It cools my bedroom and the living room if I have my floor fan on. I highly recommend if you are looking for something that is reasonably priced and works fantastic!!! Oh, and it’s very quiet. My fan is louder and my fan is not loud. Good luck!!

Perfect for a bedroom
People leaving bad reviews need to read the product description and understand it's meant for 150 square feet, it's not going to cool much more than that. Our house is old and doesn't have central air so we needed something specifically for our bedroom in order to be comfortable at night during the heatwaves as the house wouldn't cool below 85/90 degrees at night.Without even having this unit on the lowest setting, it noticeably cooled our room down within an hour of being on. This is a great little A/C for a small room, and much to our surprise, the power bill hardly increased after a few weeks of nightly use. Would definitely recommend.

It is noisy
It is not Ultra-Quiet. It is noisy. My neighbors complain that it is super noisy. They ask to remove it

Installation not as easy as advertised, temp control might require daily adjustments
I bought an AC 2 or 3 years ago. Figured I should get a new one since occasionally my old one put out a musty smell. I rent a room so figured I don't need an expensive or overly powerful one. Went with this one. None of the youtube videos I watched went into detail as far as securing it in the window sill. My old one, I just set it in the window, closed the window behind the stopper on the top and that was it. Also, with the knob to choose the temp for the room once I got it set it kept the room at a consistently good temp and would go into fan mode once the room was cool. With this one you have to put screws into the window sill AND into the window frame (which will leave visible holes after uninstalling). I didn't have a huge problem putting them into the window frame but the ones that go into the window sill have to be pre-measured before you set the AC in the window. Measurements off by a quarter of an inch? I have to un-screw them out of the wood (leaving holes) and try to guess again and hope you get it right before testing it again. Its impossible to set the AC in the window while screwing them to better get it right. If I knew I was gonna have to put screws in the wood I wouldn't have bought this. Also, when I set the knob so a certain level I find the room still gets either too hot or too cool and I have to get up to raise it or lower it. If it gets too hot and I lower it that means I usually have to go back later because the room gets too cool and visa versa. My advice is pay and evtra $40 or $50 and get a better and easier to install AC
