Save the hustle. It works if you know how to use it.
Ok so this one is a good one. I had 2 stuck rounded lug nuts on my wheel (original factory bolts) on 2015 mini cooper countryman. before this I tried almost everything till it was too late and I ended up rounding the first one then the second. I used a smaller socket (15mm) yes 2mm lost after it was rounded. so this was my last try. then decided to just spend the money and bought the socket removal kit. it literally took me less then 5 minutes to remove both bolts.

Impressed... It worked exactly as I was hoping it would!
I needed to remove two locking lug nuts from my car and my key was worn out and wouldn't engage the locking nuts any more. I looked at multiple tools and saw this one. After reading many reviews, for $20 I thought I'd give this a try thinking it was a 50/50 chance it would remove one lug nut, let alone both. It arrived in a nice durable case and the sockets seem to be decent quality. Even comes with a knock out tool to remove the lug nut from the socket which you will need as this tool is designed to cut into the stuck lug nut. (I laughed at the reviews where people actually complained that it was difficult to remove the lug nut from the socket. Ahh...well, yeah! Also, some people complained there were no instructions. If you need instructions to use this tool, you should probably take your car to a professional in my humble opinion).Anyhow...I found the socket that fit on the locking lug nut and gave it a few good smacks with the hammer to seat it. Using my electric impact, the socket bit in to the nut and backed it right off. I had both lug nuts off inside of 5 minutes. Looking at the socket yeah, you can tell it has been used but it looks to me like it has plenty of life left in it. Keeping in mind that my lug nuts were torqued to spec and not over tightened, but I feel it would still work even if they were. It didn't slip at all when I used it.All that said, I feel this was $20 well spent. Solved my immediate problem and now I have a nice little kit for future use.

Lickity Split
8 completely seized lug nuts prompted this purchase. With all 8 not moving (this is after 3 days of pb blaster by the way) it seemed pretty bleak. What can I say this kit (plus breaker bar) had them all off in 15 minutes. This is how stuff is supposed to work

This works, And I kid you not, I was skeptical, but this one lug nut gave me a headache for a week.I don’t think the tool would work, but you got to wedge it in there with a hammer and I used a wrench (not a power tool) with a breaker bar and it came off

Worked good for me
I used one size to remove 5 stripped lug nuts. It got the job done, shows a little wear so it might not last forever but I was able to get them off and replaced.

Recommended for rusty/ stripped lug nuts
Needed to remove multiple stuck lug nuts. My 1/2” impact gun couldn’t take them off and broke a socket. I used another socket and it rounded them. This combined with a breaker bar did the job

Well worth it for the price.
I had lost the lug nut key for my wife's Outlander. After a much-deserved scolding, I only had to stand in the corner for an hour. This set however was able to remedy my pickle. I DID have to wear a dunce cap and whack the sockets a few times on to the lugs with a large hammer to get them to bite, but all in all t'was easy-peasy as the younglings say.

Worth the money, worked first time, cheaper than paying tire shop
Car I bought had locking lug nuts, and no key. Used this kit to remove the locking lug nuts. Worked great - recommend placing them, then 'hammering' them with a hard smack or two to get them to 'bite' onto the locking lug nuts. Worked great this way.
