They love it, pulling it into the houses to sleep on and chew on it too. Also recycle it too. 😊 Great quality and easy to pull apart, which you need to do a bit as it's all been pressed into the bag. I keep the big bag in spare room. Every couple of weeks I bring some down in a smaller bag to access easily with all my rats bits for cleaning etc. Absorbs well and no scent. I would recommend if ur rat has a tendency to pee in house to put some paper under the shredded wool paper. See pic 3, this is packaging paper which is thin and helps as an extra layer. If ur small animals don't go out there house to toilet. You have to do this to make the paper soft as it arrives compressed and tightly packed. For baby rabbits you would need to tear the strips into smaller pieces. We used it for our rats but we are careful not to leave any long strands especially with young rats, for baby rats we tear the strips into short lengths around 2\" long so it is time consuming.
