Freeda Health has been in business since 1928, "manufacturing high quality vitamins and nutritional supplements for over 90 years" according to their website. It is a family business based in New York, continuing to be run by relatives of the original founder. They appear to use a contracted manufacturer in an unstated location (the label says "Manufactured for: Freeda Health", rather than "manufactured by"), but a logo does indicate that it is made in a "certified GMP facility" (Good Manufacturing Practices, an FDA inspection program).In addition to being available online, their products are currently carried in-person in dozens of local stores; most are in NY and NJ, a few are in other states. The label includes a retail UPC code, the lid is safety-sealed, and the bottom of the bottle has a printed lot number and expiration date. (The one I received is good till more than 2 years in the future.)The bottle label also has a kosher logo, and lists eight things that none of their products include ("no gluten, no lactose", etc). Their website provides an even more comprehensive list of stuff they don't use, with 23 things listed: "No Aluminum, No Dyes, No Meat, No Sulfates, No Artificial colors, No Eggs, No Milk, No Sulfites, No Artificial Flavors, No Fish, No Preservatives, No Talc, No Aspartame, No Gelatin, No Casein, No Wheat, No Yeast, No Gluten, No Starch, No Whey, No Dextrose, No Lactose, No Sugar."The dosage in each coated tablet of this product is the same as the other calcium products I've used from several major locally-available brands.

They are pills. They're not notably larger or smaller than other capsules, and they don't have any particular aroma to them. No possible way to tell if they work, but they seem like a legitimate product and are well packaged.

Supplements gave me the worst belly ache , and the gas was incredible. I may as well have eaten a1/2 gallon of ice cream

Great and they are very easy to swallow

I try to take calcium and vitamin d daily and this seems like a quality supplement.

The plastic was ripped off the top and the seal over the vitamins was lifted up about 4mm. Cannot really give it any stars - because i never tried the product for fear of poison.
