Excellent, Quality Dog Food.
My guy loves this food. I believe this also came to us from a small business & they got it to us a day early!

She loves it!!! Literally.
I'm in disbelief. My dogs have never been one to come running when I fill their bowls unless its table scraps. As soon as I received this bag and opened it, she came running and then scarfed it down. She was on Castor and Pollux prior and although this is way more expensive, she loves it and she's worth it! So we are officially fans of Stella & Chewy!

Cream of the crap of kibble
So, as far as kibble goes, this is likely as good as it gets. Organ meat and bone at least provide semi-comprehensive nutritional value (even though it’s been cooked the life out of). It’s tasty, my dog liked it. If all you can afford is kibble, do this. Watch out for recalls - freeze drying is how they store viruses in labs, like in the zombie movies. I’m not aware of any recalls for this brand. With that said, kibble is processed food. Imagine you never eat anything but Kraft mac & cheese and microwave meals your whole life. That’s not food. When I put my dog on this, per advice from a pet nutritionalist, he definitely perked up and had more energy. He also had massive, dinosaur poops, which makes me wonder what filler I was dealing with. On both the beef and red meat blends, I also had to start wiping after every stool, lest I have skid marks all over my house. It’s rich.I’ll also caution that 1) chicken is the most common dog allergy and, 2) as he got older, he got large lipomas (lumps of fat under the skin). He was on the beef and I realized that years of processed food was causing liver disruption (that’s where fat is processed). I don’t recommend chicken for dogs with itchy skin or ear infections, or beef for older dogs.I recently switched to real food (yes, it’s expensive), and a gentle, Ayurvedic liver detox. His lipomas have shrunk by two thirds, and my 9 year old is running half marathons and mounting furniture like a newborn. He’s pooping near, little cigars, which tells me he’s not eating filler. He’s eating food.Basically - if you’re feeding that expensive, corn-based crap from the vet, or some cheap food from Costco, or something else that spends all its money on either advertising, or timeshare vacations for vets who pawn it off as gospel, this is better than that. If you love your dog like a part of your family, fork out for USDA human-grade food that’s packaged in non-BPA, recyclable plastic containers and delivered bi-weekly.

Sensitive dog
My dog is allergic to nearly all dog foods and has GI issues and itching. This is the only kibble we've found that he can eat! Thank you.... Please never stop making it

My pooches ❤️ The food
My dogs get excited when they see the red bag. It’s pricey, but worth it. I mix it in with taste of the wild. Perfecto.
