Nice protection for the Kindle.
Perfect fit. I replaced an older cover (same brand Casebot) that had developed cracks at the seams of the cover. Still usable but I was ready for an update. The original cover was 4 years old and had seen hard use (6 days a week, 4-5 hours a day, for 5 weeks on the beach in Pass A Grille FL) for each of those years, including regular use at home. Good product, comfortable feel. A slightly thicker cover and double stitching and it would probably never wear out!

Near perfect case -- comfy, protective and great magnets
I originally had a Moko case for my brand new Kindle Oasis. I was pretty happy with it -- it looked nice (I had the faux leather one that looks like an old book), was light and protective. However, the magnets that keep the flap closed were very weak, with the result that it often slipped open both exposing the Kindle to risk of damage and always turning it "on," draining my battery needlessly. After doing some research I decided to give the CaseBot a try, and I'm thrilled with my purchase. It looks great (real leather) and, to start, the magnets are perfect -- strong enough to keep the cover from flapping open or moving but easy to open myself when I want to. The wake/sleep feature now works as it should, saving my battery. It's also very comfortable to hold -- some reviews noted that the front cover flap is "padded," and I think it is very slightly -- not so much that there is any added or uncomfortable bulk, but enough to add some protection to it. I actually find that it makes the Kindle very easy and comfortable to hold with the cover flap flipped back. The foam material on the inside is similarly soft and comfy. The build quality is fantastic. And, oddly enough, though I hadn't dropped my Oasis yet (and rarely have dropped any of my past Kindles), the very day I got this cover and put in on I dropped the Kindle onto the hard concrete of my garage -- the Kindle and cover both were perfect. So, I'd very highly recommend this cover -- it looks great, is very well made, is protective and very comfortable to hold. And, oh yeah, the magnets work perfectly!

Great case!
I really love this case. It's sturdy, protects the Kindle nicely, and the leather feels nice in your hands. I haven't had problems with "sharp" edges at all. I also love purple so when I found this case in "Midnight Violet" I was elated! It's a beautiful color. The only downside is the weight the case. It adds some bulk to the Kindle, so it's a bit heavier than non-leather cases. But, it fits well, is easy to take out and put back in, and helps hold the Kindle, which is a little "slippery" due to its construction (aluminum vs. the rubber backing of the first Oasis.) Overall, I would definitely recommend this case - it comes in several different colors, so you can choose! I'm quite happy with mine.

Not the best, serves its purpose only
Having purchased numerous cases for my various Kindles (2nd Oasis), I find this case does work for the purpose it was intended. The Oasis is a little bigger, and with the case it seems bulkier and therefore is a tighter fit in my purse. I feel that the edges could be a little sturdier as they seem rather “soft” and the thread on the edge is susceptible to the elements. I love the color. I only wish that it was as sturdy as the “vintage” case I bought for my Paperwhite. That case was plastic covered in leather —this case is padded. The “vintage” case is lustrous, and polished looking — and this case is a matte color. The fit of the Oasis is okay, yet it is easy to remove the Kindle.

This case is perfect
When I bought my Kindle Oasis, I knew I'd want a case for it. I'm very particular about taking care of my gadgets.I chose this case after reading lots of reviews. I've had it for a couple of years now, and it has been the perfect case for my Kindle. It fits it perfectly, feels good in my hands, and looks great. It's also looks brand new and has held up well.I highly recommend this case for Kindle Oasis.

Love.
Love. It fits the reader like a glove. Beautiful, elegant looking. There isn't much else to say, perfect if you are looking for a leather case. Seems sturdy and good quality. The color is what I expected it to be, and it was exactly what I wanted.I would say that this is a "traveling case" and what I mean by that is when you are opening and closing a lot to travel around or if you are on the move. The case is not meant to bend back, so using it just around the house tends to get annoying because the one side gets in the way and makes it awkward to hold. If its traveling with you, its a great case to tuck your reader in. If you are getting into some serious reading and moving about the house, you might want a different case. I did not take a star away for this because the item never claimed to bend back or be super flexible. It is as advertised.

All in all nice build, good quality at a reasonable price
I received this a couple days after it had become available and happened to read the response from Fintie where they had indicated this was synthetic leather. I called Fintie and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who explained the mixup with the company's original answer, so alls well that ends well on that front. The case feels good in the hand, and after the initial gloss coating or polish wears off it feels even better and isn't as slippery. In my opinion, it does add a little heft to an otherwise svelte device, but it's negligible. It hugs the Kindle firmly but can be easily removed and the corners look sufficiently thick enough to protect the device from any minor drops. After having this case for a few weeks there is no doubt it's real leather, that smell of leather is starting to come through, now that the adhesive aroma has dissipated. I'd agree with the poster who mentioned the padding thickness. I don't dislike it, but perhaps it could be a little thinner, which is a bit more comfortable when folded behind the Kindle when reading. All in all nice build, good quality at a reasonable price -- I may even pick up another as a spare.
