Ok I am impressed. Quick, excellent battery. The best thing, far better than other tablets, the NXTVISION reading mode , just excellent. Kindle app , web pages , internet archive, pdf. Very useful and easy to use utilities to manage screen and settings. Excellent value , excellent screen.

My wife says the touch is not super sensitive but, for me its perfect. i do not like when a touch screen responds to event the lightest touch. Same reason i do not get a ouch screen laptop. rotational response is quick and so far the UI has been responsive. removed a few apps that came with it but, only like 3. TCL has VERY little bloat on devices. watched a movie on it and screen is very clear. I got a screen protector that i will apply soon. I have a feeling the screen might be a little scratch prone. glass density does not feel super high but, its a light tablet, might just be me overthinking it. Unless i update this review, assume its going perfectly fine. I am VERY picky with tablets and manufacturers but, im also cheap so this hit every mark for me. I do not trust no name tablets on the site and im not paying 300 for a "flagship brand" TCL is excellent and not super expensive.

(3rd week review) Works pretty good. You can get 5g on straight talk to work, you just have to sign it up as a phone using an old phones IMEI number. Got this so I could watch Netflix while slow at work. It does fine but even 5g cannot hold a constant 1080p resolution. I recently started playing games on it to kill time as well, BUT the screen has random dead spots frequently for no reason. Even if you try to tap multiple times in a row, it won't register. While gaming or typing it can be extremely frustrating to the point I just want to jab my finger through it or slam it on the ground. Almost as good as an iPad if not for the screen registration.

I've been quite happy with this new tablet. The battery life is great, the storage room could be better, but I can live with it. The screen quality is good for watching videos or whatever. I have other TCL equipment, and am quite pleased with those as well, so it was no surprise this was as good as it's turned out to be.

I bought this for the dash in my truck to use with navigation, camping, and off road apps. I just returned from my first off road adventure and it performed flawlessly! no issues with constant bouncing and jarring on the trail. It did awesome with signal strength, out doing my phone in several locations ( same carrier for both the phone and this tablet) battery life was equally impressive, lasting all day in map mode and a couple of Netflix movies at camp that night. The only concerning thing I'd note is I did get a over heating message when I stopped for lunch on the way home. Totally my fault in that I left it in the cab running for about 45 minutes in 80+ temps. Other than the heat issue, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better tablet in this price range

I put one app on this tablet and it has no room for a second. What a worthless piece of junk. It wouldn't even run the second app when I put it on there. I don't know what this is for but I'm returning it and they ought to not sell such drivel.

I also have the TCL Tab 8 and it desperately needs ram, but the Tab 10 has enough for everything I have tried doing with it. I think the extra gig of ram makes a huge difference. I then bought another one of these to keep in my wife's car for our granddaughters. I had bought a different tablet that was WAY more expensive but the girls were fighting over it, I added this as the 2nd tablet and the girls can not tell the difference between this and the 500+ dollar tablet that I had initially bought for them.

I enjoyed using this table for the few months that it worked properly. I liked the fact that I could use my Google Fi SIM card (which operates on T-Mobile) to access mobile data. The screen and the features were all fine. But after a few months, the battery refused to charge at anything approaching a normal speed. Different cables, different chargers - nothing made a difference. If I charge it now while powered on, the battery percentage never increases. I charges very slowly when powered off - takes more than a day to fully charge from 0%.I've tried THREE times to get a response from TCL about repair or replacement. After three weeks - no response. Based on that alone, I would not recommend this product or any product from TCL. I'm starting to question my purchase of a TCL TV now.
