I was looking for a compact voice recorder for meetings and note taking that didn't break the bank. I previously used an app on my phone, but this would get interrupted by incoming messages and emails making it impractical for anything other than short note taking.This fits the bill beautifully, it's small but has a decent quality, even at lower bitrates, from either the built in mic or the provided plug-in mic. It recorded a 45 minute meeting clearly and without fault.Having seen some reviewers talk of hiss making it almost unusable I was a little apprehensive about ordering one. However, I can't fault the quality for speech, I haven't tried recording or playing music as that's not what I bought it for. For a small cheap voice recorder I rate it very highly.The only thing I would advise is to spend a bit of time with the instructions and familiarise yourself with the controls before you use it in anger. It isn't complicated but there are quite a few options.

Great for the price, good all round note and message recorder

I bought this for my mum who is elderly so she can record things it's light weight and easy to use.

I bought this because I needed proof the girl upstairs was harassing me and bullying me so thank I got her

It is very small and I really need something bigger as a pensioner. The instructions difficult to read and Ia have to get a friend to come over and show mw how to use it. I just want something to turn on for record and off when i have finished with a play back/fast forward mode. Thats it - I don't want something over complicated.

Useful little tool

The recorder was ok but now its stopped working,i used it about 5 times then it stopped charging ,& now its as dead as a dodo ,it cannot be reset as it needs to be turned on & it wont turn on ,a total waste of money i will never buy from this company again,it lasted one month .
