Safe choice
Had to wait for Warmer weather to try this out because the bag says to wait till it’s consistently over 50’. I love that it’s clear and simple instructions and that I can feel safe with my kids running on the lawn because it has safe ingredients. Works great at filling in bare spots and matches our grass color well

Very good product
The value for the money is very good here. I only took off 1 star because my go-to Scott's product (which is much more expensive) just works better. I had a few spots in the lawn to repair so I used this product. The filler used does a nice job at retaining moisture, but I did find it dries faster than I was used to in the other product I use. This led to me having to repair the spots twice when I fried the brand new grass from letting it get too dry, which was 100% my fault for not monitoring the moisture closer. My lawn is a mix of fescue and kentucky blue grass, this blends in nicely and is a nice dark green color, though thin right now.Sunday has great products for a fair price, if you want the best you're just going to have to spend more.

Didn't work for me
I usually use Scotts products but opted to try this stuff out for minor patch fixes in my primarily tall fescue lawn. Prior to application, I used my electric tiller to soften the soil for the top 6-10 inches. I own a seed spreader, but opted to just apply this stuff by hand. After application, I watered daily for 10 days, but nothing spouted. Temps ranged from 50-65 degrees during this time. Most of the areas where I applied this seed are in low-to-zero foot traffic. Back to using Scotts for me.

All Components for Growing Grass are Included except soil & water.
I used this to patch lots of seasonal bare spots/zones in my yard that return year after year. I followed the directions, first waiting until the temperatures are in the recommended range, making sure the soil in the areas to be treated has been broken-up (I used a small rotary weeding tool that digs in and breaks up the soil) and then making sure the areas were kept moist (I set up a sprinkler irrigation system to water 2-3x a day).As advertised, grass sprouted within 14 days. It's currently at the stage where the blades are super thin, but they're a deep-green color and growing well. The product basically has everything needed, fertilizer, seeds, & mulch that will support growth in an area that's suitable for growing grass.I especially liked that the product's container uses only a small amount of plastic, and is easily plastic-bricked.As the grass matures in my test-patches I will follow-up with a mid-growing season update to this review.

Not For Southern States
It’s impossible to give an immediate complete review of this until a month or so after use, but I’ll update later once/if I see growth. This is advertised as having “mulch” to help growth. I’d argue it’s added to cut down on the amount of seed included. I’d rather they keep the mulch and give me more seeds. It felt like there was a 75/25 much/seed ratio in the bag.Outside of that, this seed also cuts its market in half as it’s only recommended for Northern (cooler) states.Wouldn’t but again even if this actual sprouts.Price when reviewed: $19.78

Didn't work for us
I'm in South Florida so it's been warm here for quite a few weeks now. We laid it out about 3 weeks ago and followed all directions but not seeing any grass growing.

Super Easy to Apply
I had to reseed some bare patches in my lawn. This made it super easy to do so. The coating makes it very easy to see where you’ve placed seed. It grew very quickly as well!

I wont see results for a while, but easy to use!
I recently tried out the Sunday Bare Repair Grass Seed Spot Treatment for some shady and stubborn patches on my lawn. The application was surprisingly straightforward; the seed didn't spread too widely, which allowed for precise targeting of problem areas. While I appreciate the ease of use, it's important to note that the true results of this seed's effectiveness won't be visible for a few months. However, if it lives up to its promise of repairing lawn patches in 14 days or less, it will certainly be worth the wait. For now, I'm optimistic about seeing a lush, rejuvenated lawn in the near future.
