You don’t need a lot of this stuff to clear out the sprayer. It works quite well. The little spray time is very nice to to you can also use it as a spray cleaner for overspray etc. it has a strong gas like smell so ventilation is recommended. It also may dissolve styrofoam and soft plastics painted surfaces etc so use a little caution.

I used this to clean my Great Stuff Pro foam gun. The cleaner screwed onto the foam gun without issues and worked as expected. There’s no difference between this foam cleaner and the one made by Great Stuff except for the price. It’s a bit inconvenient that you can’t buy this at a local hardware store or home center. But if you don’t mind ordering online and waiting a few days, you can save a few dollars.

Smells a lot like brake cleaner. Incidentally, this is the first time I had used any of the cleaner actually made to clean the foam spray gun. In the past I found that brake cleaner did a pretty good job of cleaning the foam gun. This seemed like it may have worked a little better than the brake cleaner maybe just because it hooks up to the nozzle directly.To he honest it's about the same price as what the better quality brake cleaners cost so I'm thinking about trying the stuff out next time I work on one of the cars. If it works like I think it will, I'll like the extra convenience and reach that my foam spray gun will give it for cleaning parts.

I purchased a can of spray foam to fill the major portion of the void and then decided to also get a spray gun that fit the foam canister. But having used the expanding spray foam in the past, I knew how messy that can be. I waited until I had this product so that I would be able to clean up the gun and whatever else got some of the foam over-spray (if there was any). This product worked well, getting most of the excess spray left in the spray gun cleaned out, though there were some spots that took a bit more work than I liked. Overall, this is something I will buy again when a project requires expanding spray foam.

I use this sprayman foam cleaner to keep my sprayman polyurethane gun clean. If you own a spray gun that sprays polyurethane foam like great stuff pro, then cleaner is a must or else your gun will not work after 1 use. I have sprayed and cleaned my gun 2 times and I have about 1 1/2 cans left. I suggest wearing a mask and spraying in a well ventilated area as fumes are strong. Good product, good price. 5 stars.
