My first experience with Shilajit was quite surprising. I had heard that it was a resin-like substance formed in rocks, so I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of taste and texture. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be better than I had anticipated. The Shilajit is a dark brown, almost black, and has a thick, honey-like consistency. Despite its origins, I was pleased to find that it was exceptionally pure and free from any impurities. What surprised me even more was that it had no discernible taste or odor. In fact, when I took a small amount directly, I detected a subtle, almost sweet undertone, which made it quite palatable. I mix it with milk, which is a common method of consumption, to make it easier to incorporate into my daily routine. It did require some stirring to ensure a thorough blend, but once mixed, it didn't affect the milk's flavor in any significant way. As for its purported health benefits, it's still too early to determine. Nevertheless, I'm willing to continue using it and see if it lives up to my expectations.

Well the reviews on how difficult these can be to open are TRUE !!!.. I was wearing firm grip gloves and even used a pipe wrench trying to break the tight sticky seal. What worked is running it under hot water , the lid was released when product got warmed up . Taste is very slight and should pair well with my morning coffee.

I had used shilajit for a month and half so I tried to saved money by buying this particular brand.....Waste of money, nothing like the one I had prior.This stuff came from China so I should've known, it was very running with a sweet taste and I felt no effects from it, unlike the other brand from here in the USA (nutraharmony) store.I'm not a Dr. or medical person but I do check my vitals frequently and my takeaway from this item is that it did nothing for me unlike the other which I felt more energy, cleared minded and alert and my BP which before starting shilajit was bordering on high actually came way down so I don't take my water pill any longer and I'm 65.That's just me you would have to do your own research.Best of health to all but don't waste your money.

Reviews on this seem to be a little mixed. I'm trying Shilajit for the first time so I have nothing to directly compare to in order to confirm the authenticity of this product or not. If any other reviews have a more definite way to test that would defintely change opinions on this.Packaging is professionally done and nice looking. One of my jars was leaking inside the manufacturer package but thankfully not much was lost other than making a mess. This wasn't a shipping issue, the outer box was intact and the leak was between the jar and the manufacturer's cardboardIt's syrupy but mostly a harder resin in texture at room temperature. I'm not sure exactly what texture to expect but this seems to be close to what I've seen. It's very sticky and is hard to dish out, needs to be scooped using the spoon. In order to stir it into water as it suggests, it either needs to be heated or stirred very vigorously.The taste is not necessarily pleasant but not as horrible as expected, almost sweet as if possibly thinned with molasses or something but I'm not sure.I'm going to give this a shot and will update if possible. A challenge is that unlesss the health benefits are truly significant enough to justify taking this, it is significantly more time consuming and slightly more expensive than just taking a supplement in pill or liquid form.

For 6 weeks, I've been trying to get the jar open. I wish I could return it. This product is a waste of money.

When I received the product, I opened it right away. It was exactly the same as the one I had used before, and it tasted exactly the same. It is very pure. The manufacturing process is great and beautifully crafted. This product contains a wide range of minerals, as well as other nutrients. I took it and the taste is the same as what I have consumed before. This product is made from the finest resin, so it has a high nutritional value component. It is also easy to consume, you can dissolve it in warm water total melt and take it. You can take it as a healthy drink. Only from drinking it, I feel that I am no longer fatigued and I am not thinking of sleeping when I work.
