Minibot grows up
Years ago, the first transformer my parents bought me was Gears in his minibot form. As such I have a lot of time for the character that the Transformers brand hasn't really shown. This is a smashing modern representation with a lot of poseability and a nice transformation. I like it a lot.

Initially concerning
Although it looks like his chest plate is missing -it's not :-)Initially, I thought I had received an incomplete figure, as the stock photo shows him 'in box' with his chest plate attached. however, Hasbro obviously decided to change how they package him after they had taken his photos. It can be found detached and wrapped in snazzy tissue paper, found with the gun, inside the box. Love this figure.
