NOT THE COLOR ON PINT
Was so excited to get a cobalt looking glaze and was disappointed to see that it comes out a very light misty blue!3 coats to cone 6. Bad glaze photo representation

Glaze color
This glaze does not look like the picture unless you fire to cone 6. I fire at cone 5 and it turned out to be more of a satin look.

Disappointing Results
To begin with, my experience is with the Variegated Lapis glaze. While the color is a very dark navy blue upon firing, any true effects you would expect are essentially only viewable with a macro lens (in other words, I don't think I would notice any "variegating" within this glaze). The colors on the label are somewhat more vibrant and brighter than on glazed pieces. With that being said, several of the other glazes turn out really beautifully. I'd recommend only using these glazes on clays that fire white. I'm interested in the Lavender Mist glaze as it turns out absolutely STUNNING.If you're interested in buying any of the mid-fire glazes, there's a great video on Youtube by Jessica Putnam-Phillips showcasing each on porcelain. I'd recommend watching to get an idea how they turn out before purchasing.
