The Best of Grade 4 (Piano) Paperback – 18 Oct. 2007

As this is a book of graded pieces, it's easy to know what level it is. And as they're pieces that people have enjoyed from past exam syllabuses it's a fairly sure bet that they'll be fun to play. What might be harder is to find played versions to listen to if you want to know what they're supposed to sound like, but with the amount of videos out there I'm sure enough digging will find most if not all.All in all, a good addition to the music library.

My daughter has just completed her grade 4 and passed but was a little worried about moving on up to grade 5 straight away. I found this book for her and bought it to enable her to get more practice at Grade 4 level. Our piano tutor, who has been teaching for years, found this book quite enjoyable as it really does have some of the nicest pieces in it. My daughter liked it as it gave her more confidence and she is now happily playing away!

This book came in handy for when I was doing grade 4, it helped me to learn and to be cable of passing my grade 4 piano exam. The book came in extremely good conditions and the prices are excellent.

Purchased because one of the pieces is on the alternative list for ABRSM grade 4. Definitely starts easier and gets more difficult towards the back. A good spread of pieces from easy grade 4 each to initial grade 5 pieces. All classical pieces so far.

Found this book to have a great selection of pieces that gradually get tougher and tougher to learn. If you're working towards your Grade 4 exam then this book will help you with learning techniques etc.

For anyone who has been teaching a long time (like myself), this is a great little book. It contains many of the nicest pieces that the ABRSM have used over the years, with a good range of genres. I purchased it during the summer and can't wait to introduce it to some of my students. Great for preparing students for the type of music they will have to play in their actual examination.

I have been working my way through this set of books. I got Grade 2 & 3 from the library, but realised that I need longer to tackle Grade 4(!), so bought my own copy.They represent fantastic value for money, and really do have some of the nicest pieces at each grade. I have enjoyed learning the pieces, and still play some of my favourites from the first two books.

The book of piano pieces had been used ( as described) with written notes and helpful hints.Some nice pieces of music to learn.
