It's hard to determine how stiff this tulle is from the description. It turned out to be VERY soft. As a costume maker, reading that the tulle would work for ballet costumes raises expectations in my mind that this stuff will hold its shape, which it does not. It probably WOULD work as party decorations.

This is just as expected in color. The plastic storage tube was a bit misshapen due to being sent in a bubble wrap envelope, but the tulle content is fine. Pre-cut strips of tulle are handy to have around for quick decorating and/or small sewing projects. The ivory seemed the best neutral color choice for my varied projects.
