Solid, Reliable Fit
Face it: lens caps can, and likely will get lost. And the smaller the lens cap, the easier it is to misplace it. To make matters worse, some lens cap designs do not grip as quickly and reliably as others. The original equipment cap for my Fuji 27mm pancake lens was one of those—hard to snap in place quickly, and prone to getting on part way, and then falling off. It took me a number of months, but I finally lost it while on a neighborhood walk. By the time we found it in the street, multi-ton vehicles had rendered it even less suited for its task. The JJC LC-39 turned out to be a great replacement, "great" meaning noticeably superior to the original. It goes on quickly and easily, and stays in its place better than a well trained husband. I was about to quite willingly shell out $7 for a single cap from another source when I found that I could get 5 of these puppies for just under $11. I checked with my wife, as my calculator batteries were dead, and she confirmed that was a better deal. So, they work flawlessly and they are a great value. But wait, there's more! Well, not much more, in my opinion, but your mileage may vary. Each cap comes with a "Cap Keeper," which consists of a black elastic ban attached to a small rectangle of plastic which can self-adhere to the front center of the lens cap. The idea is that when you take the lens off the front of the lens you will keep it handy by wrapping the elastic band around the lens, your wrist, your parachute strap, or whatever works for you. Also supplied is a length of slightly elastic black string, one end of which can be attached to a small hole provided on the edge of the lens cap, and the other, well... to something you don't plan to lose. One of these approaches, particularly the latter, might be a real benefit if you are always using the lens that the cap fits, but most of us are interchanging lenses, so may find, as I do, that the leash is more trouble than it's worth. At the crazy cheap price of these caps, shoot... buy a few packs of 5 and don't worry about losing them.

Like having an extra
Lost my lense cap recently so needed a quick replacement. The fit seems a bit too snug but will make it work. Can't really evaluate the adhesion until I've used it on a few trips. I had a similar strap on a previous lense cap and it lost adhesion quickly. I'll update later after more use.

Purchased after the my original Sony cap broke. Great value and quality. Glad I ran across these.

Great Value
Pros: Perfect fit. Easy to get on and off the lens. Great price!Cons: Unless there is some way I'm not aware of, threading the loop on the lens-keeper into the tiny hole is impossible. I put a drop of Krazy Glue in the center of the cap & glue the loop string to it.

Hinders the sun shade
The cap does it's intended job, however it's outer diameter in lager than the inner diameter of the lens shade on a Nikon 24-70 and 70-200. So, you have to take the cap off before you can invert the lens shade and vice-versa. but there again the job it was designed for was to protect the glass... which it does fine, it's just annoying that the shade won't fit past the cap.

Fits perfect
This was to replace a 1975 Minolta lens cover. Fits better than the original lever did.
