Fixed my Triton T90xr for 6 quid plus P&P - fantastic
I've got a 2 year old (pumped) Triton T90xr. The symptom was that the shower runs for about 1 minute (over time had decreased to this) then the water stopped. At this point the shower still made the same noise as when the water is delivered, just no water delivery. I tested resistance of existing coil with multimeter (see The Shower Doctor's solenoid coil video on YouTube) and only got 0.08 kOhms so this was good evidence it was the coil, as the video says it should be 3.5kOhms or more.I ordered this and seller Bob sent me the same original coil Triton supply (Robertshaw) rather than the advertised generic one - assume because he didn't have a generic one available, but still very good of him to do this rather than wait till he had the generic.Fitted it and my shower is perfect again - been back running as long as I need. Having tested the new coil before fitting, it was indeed exactly 3.5kOhms.Gotchas for me: struggled to get the Triton detachable panel off the bottom of the shower - in the end I bent it and prised the old coil down and off, but could have snapped the panel so dodgy. Also struggled a bit to push the new coil in - needed a bit of greasing - perseverance and care not to force it will get it done.Absolutely delighted Bob the seller, together with Shower Doctor's video on youtube, saved me a good few quid on a callout from a repairer - don't really begrudge them this as everyone has to live, but great I could do it myself on this occasion with these guys' help.

Just the job!
After our Triton Madrid 2 started cutting off sporadically a few days ago, culminating in total failure, I started looking into it. I watched a few Youtube videos that implicated the solanoid. After turning off the power, I tested resistance with my multimeter and got 0ohm so I asssumed (correctly) that the solanoid was to blame. Ordered a very reasonably priced replacement part from Bob on Tuesday, arrived on Thursday. I removed the old one and fitted the new and in less than 10 mins, had a fully functioning shower again. Perfect.

it works
This is brilliant, watched a youtube video from Triton on how to replace and now my shower works again, it was simple to change this, took a bit of encouragement with a hammer to get the new solenoid on but the shower has been running perfectly for days now. I'd much rather spend under a tenner than fork out for a new shower. Can't recommend enough.

Works but maybe not a long term replacement
A good replacement after I fixed the leak in the shower box. They are very sensitive to moisture. For me it just bought enough time until ready to install new shower box but it did cease working from moisture alone rather than the original leak.
