Best upgrade to get
I have made lots of hats by hand....it sucks. At first its not too bad but sure gets old. I 3d printed one of the drill adapters and its just not what you should use at all. This thing is the answer. Very easy to mount and has enough weight to help hold the knitting machine. I did see some reviews about the 3rd screw and they didn't understand what it did, but it clearly shows you in the instructions its an addition brace. It has pictures. The variable speed is a really nice feature, along with the reverse. It has enough power to handle the yarn and does not bind up. No negatives to report with making 10+ hats with it non stop.

Multitasker master
Crocheter/yarn addict. This was one of my best purchase this year. The key is the right yarn. Not all yarn will work for this machine most worsted weight and thick dk weight. Which is 85% of my stash. After finding that I like crocheting blankets it left a whole lot of onesie and twosie balls. I got this to lower my stash. I got the electric crank to save my shoulders and elbow from wear and tear. In 3 weeks I have 42 hats ready and one huge storage box empty and 16more boxes to go. If I know the yarn has no knots. I can crochet blankets while the machine is making hats.

Missing parts
I ordered This for Christmas and the first time it was missing the bowl, waiting almost a month for a new one with the bowl missing again. Just beware. We were excited.

AMAZING
I didn’t know what I was missing. The first time I used it on my Sentro 48 needle knitting machine, it took less than 5 minutes to make 120 rows. I sat and watched it keeping and eye on the yarn, watching for knots. One did get by me. And it stopped the machine. I highly recommend this for anyone who is tired of cranking the handle. It saved my arm. Very easy to set up.

Terrible instructions, but it works
Poor instructions. The charger lights up but it doesn't turn on via the switch on top. It took a while to sort the problem. There is an additional switch on the bottom that is labeled a speed adjuster, but has to be turned on (it's not simply a speed switch, it's the power switch too). The switch on top has the usual | 0 || configuration of a power switch, and yes it starts and stops the machine and changes direction, but not until the other switch is on. In addition there is a screw at the top that does not align with anything on the knitting machine. The unit is too short for my machine so I have to wedge a piece of cardboard below to make it level. The instructions are unclear, but the both the QR code and the web address for help have expired, so there was no help for me online. I came here to read the reviews and that helped solve some of the issues, but the switch wasn't mentioned. Trial and error to get it running. I think it will be a nice addition in the long run, but that was needlessly difficult and I don't like how the design doesn't fit properly.

Huge timesaver!!!
Makes a huge difference! I do not recommend using it in super high speed or the Sentro will burn out. But using at middle speed works flawlessly!
