OMG WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!
My most favorite perfume in the entire world was discontinued a couple of years back (Elizabeth James, Nirvana Rose), it was kind of devastating, as dramatic as that sounds. I’m known for that scent. I stocked up on it and in the last 6-months, I’ve been looking for my new scent, as supplies are beginning to run low. Everyone and their mother has had suggestions and almost all of them are similar to the signature, Le Labo Santal. Well, I have smelled what seems like every single something with “santal” in the title and haven’t found anything that just snaps.I have never purchased a scent online that I haven’t personally smelled in-person or experienced in some way, but I kept coming back to this product. I’ve been looking for a body oil that hydrates but isn’t super greasy. Additionally, I wanted a body oil that matched the fragrance of my body wash. I didn’t realize it when I started this search, but this is kind of a tall order! All the reviews are SO positive. I’m pretty leery at this point after my very long fragrance hunt, of anything with “santal” or particularly “cashmere,” in either the title or description. In my humble experience, this is often a dead giveaway to a scent that’s super generic, overdone and nothing special. I am so happy to report that I was wrong! If I could, I would absolutely soak myself in Saltair’s Santal Bloom scent. I would buy this scent in laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, hair spray, room spray, candles, you name it! I cannot get enough of this stuff!! It’s an absolute delight in every possible way AND it’s made my skin incredibly soft. I’ve been wanting to switch to an all-over body oil instead of a lotion and although I’m not positive that’s what the intended use of this product is (to the extent I’m applying it 😈), it’s exactly what I wanted. This oil is super light, it absorbs really quickly without leaving a greasy mess and I love the pump! Side note: how often can you say you LOVE the packaging of something? Yeah, hardly never. I love the packaging of this product!Seriously, I cannot get enough of this scent! I purchased the body wash, I'm about to order the dry shampoo - I’m extra, extra picky about hair products, so fingers crossed. Ultimately, I want this scent to radiate around me at all times. It’s not overpowering but it’s definitely not what I’d consider subtle, which I love. I debating even leaving a review because I don’t know that I love sharing my new found scent-obsession, I want to keep it a secret BUT I also feel for those who are in the exhaustive hunt for their new “scent,” and thought, “why not, maybe someone will read my novel-long review and it’ll be useful!”So here it is! To anyone that’s on the fence, if you took the time to read this review, then just do it! My man cannot keep his hands to himself when I’m wearing this scent and it has an impressively long wear-time. If you’re a guy reading this, if your lady is a tad sassy, brilliant, one of those people that others just gravitate towards? Yeah, get this for her, she will love it and you will get a whole lot more than just a bottle of skin oil, if you’re picking up what I’m putting down.I haven’t tried the other Saltair scents, I’m pretty loyal to one scent at a time BUT…I’m very curious. I’m probably going to look into the scent in the pink and charcoal grey bottomed next (no idea what they are called, look at the Saltair shop on here, you’ll see what I mean), as well as the new salt sugar-y scent they just released.P.S. Saltair people, if you read this, I’m totally game. I’m not joking, I want to soak in this stuff, it’s amazing - well done, team!

MOISTURIZING YES! SALT WATER YES!
Ok…. So I got the pink beach, salt water vanilla, and the santal bloom. If you’re looking for the moisturizing properties, omg they are super moisturizing. I have extremely dry skin that borderlines eczema. My skin has been supple and hydrating for days so much so that I didn’t know that THIS is what normal skin is supposed to feel like. Now to the scents. I like musky, vanilla like scents. My most favorite to least favorite scents are: 1. Salt water vanilla (medium to light) 2. Santal Bloom (strong to light) 3. Pink beach (light). I would recommend getting these for the moisturizing aspects but the scents are up to you.

Love this body oil!
I love this body oil! Easy to apply to damp skin after a shower and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. Absorbs well into the skin and has a bit of glow after applying. I've used other more expensive body oils and this one by far is my favorite and the cost is half the price. The scent of the Golden Hour is very refreshing, not to heavy, very refreshing. Highly recommend Saltair Body Oil.

Very nice body oil with smooth elegant fragrance
I just got it and I love its scent - it's not heavy - pretty floral - orchid and a scent like a tiare flower, something somewhat powdery to it and develops on skin very nicely. Probably more for summer but it's very elegant and smooth as well. I think I like it same equally as sandalwood scent. I applied some on my arms, the scent fades after a while but I love the overall experience. The applicator is pretty aesthetic in use, it's not a typical spray, rather a pump. The bottle is real glass and the box is plain white cardboard - seems very plain but I believe they like the recycling approach to the product. I gave 4 stars because I have not used it much but the texture of oil seems very nice on the skin.

Delicious scent and my skin stayed soft for almost a full day
I've seen a lot of hype about the scents of the Saltair line, and with Summer coming up, I thought it was good timing to try their Pink Beach Nourishing Body Oil. The oil kept my arms and legs soft for almost a full day, and it wasn't too heavy. It didn't leave a sticky film on top. The scent is light but very beachy and smells even better than I expected! I also appreciate that it's in a glass bottle.

Exotic Pulp 5 stars. Santal Bloom? Pink Beach 1. Salt Water Vanilla is 4. Golden Beach is 1.
Not sure how to describe the Santal Bloom, but it is certainly strong and long lasting. I could smell it on my bed shirt 16 hours later. I am new to floral smells, so I could be off, but I’m not sure I get a strong floral smells I guess it could be sandalwood. When you first use it, it has a floral smells, but then it quickly moves to this undefined smell, like I said, maybe sandalwood. I’m not sure how much I like it…it may need to grow on me, I’m at least willing to give it that opportunity. I will warn, if you are sensitive to strong smells, give this one a pass. It’s not quite headache inducing, but it’s on the edge.Golden Beach is 1 stars. The first bottle has a vague pineapple smell, but mostly just an old oil smell. I tried it a second time and the pump was defective. I sent it back and am not going to try it again for a third time. The Island Orchid version is a 3 star. Very strong, long lasting. Difficult to pin point which type of flower it smells like…I guess orchids is precise, and honeysuckle maybe. You have to love very strong floral smells to enjoy this oil.Love the Exotic Pulp version of this oil (5 stars). It is just yummy. It smells more strongly of guava than orange, but you can smell both. I ADORE the smell. Such a sunny, yummy summer or spring smell. I layer it with pink champagne EOS lotion, although I may see if I can just buy a lotion in that scent, it is so perfect.Pink Beach is gross (1 star). It’s supposed to smell like coconut, almond flower, and vanilla. I was really excited to get this oil, but was really disappointed. I couldn’t make it past the smell and headache it induced to try and wear the oil. It smelled old, rancid, and nasty. Vaguely like very old sunscreen. Thought it might have been a bad batch so I tried it twice. Both bottles were terrible.
